1) Yup, thanks for proving that RIGS looks like a PS1 game in comparison to what Robinson: The Journey would have been. It's one thing to play with TF2 like graphics on your screen and having pixelated mess on VR that supposed to immerse you. I don't think I would consider any experience immersive that looks fake as hell. Funny thing, that's exactly what Crytek was saying all the development of VR until being money hated by Sony.
What a dumbass.
Yup, Broshida is a dumbass for lying to the public and so are all the cows for believing his bullshit, AGAIN!
2) TLOU:R can't maintain its 60FPS and it's LOL worthy keeping in view how cows call every dev in the industry lazy. WHat happened your Naughty GODS couldn't even get the last gen game to run at 60 FPS, LEL, while there are devs that lack financial support of Sony and still outperformed them.
It has occasional drops (as the reviews say, during brief, demanding moments) the same way your PC games have occasional drops. Don't tell me you hold a solid 60fps in every single game, in every single moment. And if that precious frame rate does drop or behaves erratically, you probably rush to the main menu settings to lower something a hair or two. When something drops to 52fps or - god forbid - 45fps, it's like a crisis of manhood in your life.
I don't give a damn. For years (precisely after UC2 hit a mainstream popularity, LOL) hying Naughty Duds to be some magical devs and calling all the rest of the devs amatuer and lazy. It's funny the so called magical devs and so powerful 900pStation couldn't get the last gen game to run at 60FPS. LMAO! What happened to all the claims of coding to the metal, writing in binary 0's and 1's, 2X the power of equivalent PC's? 4A games put Naughty Duds to shame even though they were a pretty small developer. Deal with it.
3) Okay, so first demo was using Titan, my bad. Anyway, who told you that the second demo looked 'not as good'? Your cow sense? Every preview of the second demo talks about how awesome it was and how they actually managed to increase the scale. Funny you didn't even read any of the articles. Oh and were you following Crytek on their VR journey? You don't. Well, I was. I have watched, read every blog entry and every dev diary they were publishing after the first demo. It's quite funny when all the design decisions they have talked about or they were hoping to implement as suggested in their tests will not be possible. One the graphics will suffer heavily, second it already looks like on rails. Thank you, 900pStation for ruining another game.
Claims to read everything, and didn't even know they used a $1000 Titan X. I'm not sure about this, but I believe I found your trigger word. Either you don't like to admit they needed an expensive, heavy-duty card that almost no one has, or you are an AMD fanboy on top of a PCMR one (we need to go deeper). Get used to downgrades for Oculus/Vive, just like with PSVR. Oculus/Vive games will have to lower and remove dazzle effects to high/med. You're moving towards the PS4, lmao!
Also, I've asked people many times in these threads to post upcoming VR games (not one or two, but many) to show that the industry is making a clear statement that VR needs/requires/demands high-end Crytek graphics for 90% of VR games. I never get an answer, because they don't have one. #PCEvidenceNoobs
Nah, downgrades don't happen on PC unless they were targeted for consoLOLes.....cough....Witcher 3......cough. VR is an expensive gadget, we know that unlike the consolites. How many consolites have gone out of their way to try and actually 'BUY' the beta Oculus headset just to get the taste of VR for $300? I know many that did on PC.
Furthermore, I did create a topic about Robinson on System Wars and how they were actually targetting high end graphics for that and everything. It's not my fault if you cows only masturbate to things made by Sony and ignore anything that doesn't shown on a Sony stage.
Crytek didn't have to sign the contract with Sony, you know. Valve/HTC and Oculus were attractive, potential partners, and even if Crytek chose to not side with anyone, they could've made it PC exclusive and ignored PSVR. Or just made Robinson multiplat for all three. So many damn options on their table. All of that freedom to choose where to take Robinson: The Journey, and to keep as close to their vision as possible....and they still chose the PSVR. So blame Crytek for signing those exclusivity papers and "ruining the game," as you say. No one forced them. Quit crying.
And we were blaming Crytek before you jumped in and start educating about their brilliant strategy that how Sony is going to be the leader in VR by selling 20 trillion headsets. Anyway, let's just forget it for a second. You are quick to blame Crytek and ready to defend Sony here. I remember all the shitstorm when MS bought timed exclusivity for ROTTR (not that I care about ROTTR). That money hatting by MS was considered evil by cows but Sony is the good guy here. :D
4) Who told you that? You see, the PC gamers and console plebs have different mentality. Did you forget Crysis? People upgraded their rigs to play that monster. If Robinson proved to be such a game it would have moved hardware on PC. Games that push the technical boundaries and have trouble running were used to be synonyms with PC gaming. I'm sure 10 people will buy the PSVR for all the Hentai games. LEL.
HTC (Vive) said that they expect VR to reach 1 billion sold in the next 7-9 years. They didn't make up a random number either. They want this to become popular, on the level of TVs and phones, where everyone will eventually have one (and to make the billions of dollars and years of research PAY OFF). You will never see 1 billion if it relied on hardcore PC gamers and enthusiasts (how many Steam users with 970/980s are there? LOL). You exaggerate PC fandom's "shaping" characteristics, making the ordinary sound monumental. VR will need Sony and mobile's help. Get out of here with that "PC virtual reality is the only real VR, and will do it all itself" bullshit. PC gaming can't even lead in traditional software sales and it has "mods mods frame rates frame rates resolution resolution LOL DOTA Steamsales!"
http://www.cnet.com/news/virtual-reality-will-need-three-to-five-years-to-take-off-says-htc/
Yes, and that 1 billion figure includes all the mainstream uses of VR apart from just 'GAMES'. You see VR has many more applications and is not just bound to gaming. It's another reason why PSVR will fail as it is tied to a closed platform. Thanks for bringing that point up. If anything this just further proves my point.
Oh and don't worry, there are far more PC gamers with 970/980 than there will ever be the number of PSVR shipped. Be jelly. Ummm.....somebody please post the PC revenue share for our dear cow here.
900pStation is made up of a cheap ass tablet CPU and GPU that barely matches a 570 from 2010. Did you notice the onrails UC4 demo at this E3? Oh sure you did, your gifs are from that. Can you show me the example of any player freedom? I think you should have seen the downgrades Naughty Duds have done to their games in this very thread. Tell me is there even a reason I should trust anything coming out of the Sony camp in light of all the downgrades and especially them admitting misleading press with bullshit videos on the Last Guardian fiasco.
And have fun with teh 900p UC4 (that also looks like shit) by teh elite Naughty Duds.
PCMR, with their superhero sensitivity to resolution, take really shit screencaps like children. That desert town shot of Uncharted 3 is bullshit, but I wouldn't be surprised that that .jpg is passed off as fact and propagated and living on every Hard Drive of PCMR. Go to around 15:35 and see how it doesn't look like that blurry (and probably manipulated) pic:
I mean, the PS3 came out in 2006 and has 256mb video RAM + 256 system RAM. Give some leeway to ancient, closed hardware. 256mb RAM! That's why ND and other developers are respected, considering what they're doing within these limitations. And you're saying ND intentionally lied by making a better looking game at E3, and than pulling the rug from under us. If that were true, wouldn't there be more video comparisons and not 2-3 of the same pics of Chloe and a shitty desert photo to prove your point? Wouldn't there be hours and hours of TLOU, UC3, UC2 and UC1 footage showing these wall-to-wall downgrades? You don't have that, because most of the games LOOK THE SAME as their previews. How about that?
The rest of your opinions on UC4 are garbage. Sony could do a thousand things right, and you wouldn't even admit to one thing going well (everything they do is a catastrophe and crime). Sony/ND could make a million games, and you'd hate every one of them. That just shows you're a PCMR fanboy with a skewed way of looking at things, and you're going to be wrong about VR. All of these thread pics use to "prove" that Sony shouldn't be allowed to attempt VR, or that Sony will contribute nothing to VR, looks like a joke or cry for PC attention. If the argument against Sony's "dishonesty" is so well-known, so factual and persuasive, Crytek wouldn't have agreed to make their next game for the most popular home console in the world. #CrytekIsNoobsAndSignsThingsWithoutReading
Blahblahblah........excuses. There were many comparisons to every Naughty Dud game and have been shared countless times on these very boards as well as all over the internet. You cows just don't like to admit and remain in delusion. Unfortunately I don't keep track of all of them like you accused me or many hermits of. But just the top of my head, the very first reveal trailer of UC2 at VGA 2008 was later downgraded and it wasn't just textures. I'm talking about the entire polygons being cut down. You know the famous train scene? Go and watch it again. Another thing I remember is all the ads of UC3 shown on TV, a classic example of false advertisement. Animations, textures, water everything was shit compared to what they shown on these ads. There are more, but that's what I noticed at first glance.
Oh and stop this bullshit about only few comparisons of downgrades and not hours upon hours of video content to prove that. You already knows that we can only compare to things pre-release PR videos/presentations/screenshots. It's not like Sony or any company shows the entire game on the stage before releasing it to retail so we can provide a comparison of every single scene. You already knew that, don't you? All that they release prior did get downgraded.
And your point regarding Naughty Duds working with limitations of the closed hardware, well, every dev in the industry was and is doing the same thing along with developing for two other platforms. Naughty Duds aren't doing something extraordinary. Just accept that cows like to hype everything Sony and goes to the point to insult all those hardworking developers by calling them lazy just to make Naughty Duds and other Sony devs look cooler. Naughty Duds deserve every criticism since they are the ones overhyping their shit and under-delivering. They were the ones who popularized this 'in-engine' crap to avoid calling it pre-rendered. Naughty Duds sucks, deal with it.
