Yeah after 8 months of PC gamers crying that they want it instead of just simply buying a ps3 or a 360 and enjoying the game, along with all the other dozens of games they petition to get PC ports of.

For claiming that the PC is the very epitome of gaming they sure do complain a lot about wanting console ports of games.

Just like every GTA game since 3 prior to their console launch.

A lot of hermits on here actually have a PS3 or 360

The difference will be too negligible for me to consider a 360 for it.

Plus I don't get TLoU, Demon's Souls and SotC on a crappy 360

multiplatforms look like crap on consoles, strategy games don't exist on consoles, gamepad sucks for shooters, games cost s*itloads of money on consoles, no mods, no strong competetive multiplayer scene on consoles, more good indie games on PC... you know what? this list is so long i'll just leave it at this.

bottom line: what can i do with a console? play exclusives. what can i do with PC? everything else.

Well, it is a PC, so obviously it can do just about everything.

Consoles are still pretty convenient compared to PCs in my opinion. Which is a pretty big deal in my situation.

is there a market for strategy games on consoles? no, cos you CAN'T PLAY them on consoles! you need mouse, you know.

where i live, the games at PSN cost the same as physical copies in the retailer across the street.

i don't care about mods either that much, to be honest, but sometimes they are awesome. Counter Strike was a mod originally, you know.

i haven't seen big gaming competition events full of console players. maybe they exist somewhere, but the scene is definetly smaller.

sure, indies are headed for consoles, and that's good.

what i mean is, that i have everything else on PC, except for those about 3-5 awesome games within 10 years that are console exclusives. that's not much.

People who haven't gamed on PC are the only people who say graphics are overrated.

No market for RTS because you can't play RTS with a controller.

PC vs console in shooters was a massive failure because all the console players were owned to the point it was unplayable, hence why console shooters have aim assist and PC doesn't.

I guess you've never heard of steam sales.

Some mods make a game objectively better, saying you don't care doesn't change that.

The point he's making is there is a very limited range of games that have active communities on console. There are games that are more than 10 years old on PC that still have huge communities.

Indie stuff from consoles seems good for next gen, I'll give you that.gamebreakerz__

There were probably some successful RTS games on consoles, but don't expect me to name them off. Though I still agree with you more or less.

Again, I've got to point out physical copies being actually, you know, physical. I'd say that Steam sale argument only applies to digital.

I understand that. Which is why I hadn't disagreed with that point; just stated my opinion.

Yeah, that's not surprising though, with older console games losing multiplayer support as the next generation rolls in.

that's actually the only, but pretty huge, downside of it... i only had to pay 3 virgin family members for it.

still better value for money than buying some standard Macbook Pro that costs the same :)

That PC gamers are generally more hardcore than console gamers. They like games enough to build gaming rigs and tweak them  to get the best performance. Console gamers are more casual. They buy one console and rally around that brand like it was their mother. They close their minds off to other platforms and that is just sad.

Downgrade to a console, to play the inferior version a few months earlier than its superior version releases on PC? That kind of stupid practice is the reason you console gamers get milked so much...

It will come, no reason for it not to. Nothing wrong with playing it on console unless better graphics is a deal breaker.
