He has an opinion that I happen to agree with.

I played SMG. Some parts are fun, but I also didnt go "OMG!" every single moment. David Jaffe and I have a pile of other things to get to. SMG was the highlight of many gamer's lives because all they have is the Wii so they need games badly. David Jaffe and I have other interests so that's why SMG didnt make us go "OMG Best Game Ever!"

Gears of War won the same GOTY award that SMG won. But just because it did, and I personally love it, I dont expect every single person who plays Gears of War to bow before it and say it's the best thing ever. I understand the game is not for everyone, and people should understand SMG is not for everyone. (and frankly the graphics are good for Gamecube but I kind of laughed when they said it shows the Wii's power. some parts looked bad)
