[QUOTE="WilliamRLBaker"][QUOTE="Vandalvideo"][QUOTE="WilliamRLBaker"]Actually, the reasons FF7 scored low was rightfully so. The sound was all midi, and there were many problems with the game itself. The reason Halo scored low was because it cuoldn't keep up with today's standards. Big difference.Ps1 cows have been obliterated... ff7 fans have been obliterated...

big difference? i see no difference... I see a game scoring one score on one platform, then a year and a half or more later scoring lower on a completely different platform.
You might see a difference but I do not.
Read the respective reviews for FF7. The sound composition was a mess, it was all in midi, and there were porting issues. The FF7 PC version was rightfully worse than the PS1 version. The Halo 2 for vista, however, is better than the console counterpart.
Doesn't mean the original game is bad. Release any game 3 years after the original and its going to score lower. And rightfully so. If Halo 2 came to the PC at the same time as it came to the Xbox the score would have been consideraby higher. Though not as high as the Xbox one because of the FPSes on the PC.
