RROD can Actually be a Bonus for Xbox 360 owners

After a little under three years of using my 360 I just got a new one free of charge from MS because of the RROD. It has the updated HDMI port. Why are people compaining about this issue. Who would no want a new console after three years free of charge?

If the first one lastet three years I have no reason to beleive the second one won't last the same or longer. IF this one dies quickly I will have to decide whether it is worth buying a new one or a PS3.

You are missing my point. The RROD issue has in essence extended my warrenty. Now after three years with no recipt or box I was given a brand new XBOX 360...That is all.

Every time you get a new counsel, even due to rrod , it renew the 3 year warranty for that counsel.

And it's warrAnty not warrEnty.

How do you figure it's new? IT is well known that MS replaces RRODed 360's with refurbished ones. If they ddn't they would be losing a lot more money than they are now with the 360.BumFluff122

It was also a good thing that Europe got the Dualshock 3 after everyone else, afterall, the rumble might have made your fingers fall off, and not being the first people to have them available would save us our fingers!
