how can he prove it he probably got it fixed already look at his user name, post history, and profile. ;)While I agree with you... PS3_3DO kinda screams fanboy too.
LOL he rated SMG, GoW, and crysis 1 and lair a 10:lol: you are right. I will know if the future to take everything he says as a sad joke that holds no truth to it.[QUOTE="carljohnson3456"][QUOTE="Bigboi500"][QUOTE="murat8"][QUOTE="PS3_3DO"][QUOTE="PS_Family"]I'm on my 6th and will be the last one.starmetroid

I think that it is as "bad as people" make it out to be, or at least, wose than those who try to downplay it to be. I'll quote the only coworker on my team (out of those with Xbox 360, 12) who has not had a RRoD... "I'm afraid to play my Xbox 360."
Only happened once for me. Though i really shouldnt say "only" considering the fact that it shouldnt have happened at all, but luckily the warranty is good.
Something that does piss me off about the 360 that doesnt get enough attention is its ability to literally eat your disc and spit it back out with scratches aplenty(loss mass effect this way, rip....luckily i got another from a friend). And no, i never move the 360 during playtime before someone asks...

I know a few people (myself included) that was having a vertically set system scratch Oblivion up pretty bad. I recommend that you put it horizontal, only problem is you lose surface area with open air around it.

how can he prove it he probably got it fixed alreadyHow can a level 28 believe a guy named PS_Family that he had 6 RRoDths... seriously? These boards are full of some very gullible people.
(Says the guy with a PS3 picture) i never had RROD because i don't keep it in inclosed spacesI've had it die on me twice. On my 3rd 360.

Id say its as bad. I mean my brother has had an xbox for almost 2 years. And it has had 2 RRoD in the past year. most everyone i know has either had one or two RRoD incidents happen with their Xboxs. But according to this source (which i know isnt asaccurate as a larger scale survey, but its pretty much sums what could/probablly will happen) the 360 has a 66% failurerate.
http://www.cheapassgamer.com/forums/showthread.php?t=175137
that may be an unbelieveable number, i mean 2/3rds of 360s fail?!? but still 33% or 16% is a high chance. And if im correct those two umbers were released by M$ themselves. so the 66% could be more accurate.
It's been blown out of preportion. Yes it's a bad problem, but often times it's the same console getting reported multipul times.

Check my blog history. I could understand if I was stretching the truth, like that PS_Family guy who said he's on his 6th, but I'm on my third. It's not my fault I bought the 360 for entertainment and it's given me a headache. I hate when people try to deny my personal experince just because they're defensive about their precious 360.
I love how fanboys hide behind the "Oh he's probably lying" defense, and the "I treat my console right" defense. I've babied my 360, and leave it on top of a shelf with wide open air.
No offence to all lemmings, but the ones like this guy are so annoying.
As bad as they say in sw? NO but its bad I have gotten 1.5.
0.5 is because my 360 got 3 rings and came back to life

Damn straight. I thought these people were extinct nowadays but I guess not.
RRoD is a HUGE problem... 33%... that's a LARGE amount!!! Also, 360s aren't just busting from RRoD. Mine died a couple of months ago because the videocard fried... $100 for them to send me a new 360. I must say, my PS3 seems to be the better investment, and my Wii... well, it hardly costs anything, so I don't mind it not getting much playtime.

Agree. I'm on #3...and even this one could go back because I got it back and it doesn't consistently read games right. Didn't have that problem when it left. But it has it now.
