Rumor says all these reboots coming up soon are thanx to that. Old gameplay didn't have power slide, so a reboot was in order, so expect some power sliding in TR, DMC, and even MK.

The list isn't horrible but Uncharted doesn't deserve to be on a top 100 list and niether does Chaos Theory. What exactly about those games strongly influenced game design?

uncharted has zero business on that list.

They failed bigtime wen they said Metroid Prime influenced Bioshock. Were they trying to joke around? Every guy knows, heck it's even on wikipedia for God's sake, that it's a spiritual succesor to System Shock 2. If it weren't for SS2, Bioshock wouldn't exist.

I like the fact that they put the DMC series. They were influencial, they did influence GoW afterall.

Bah i still think Halo:CE and MP1 Should have been higher :P I mean Halo is pretty much responsible for the consoles FPS influx we have today and MP was just awesome. walkingdream

Some of those were influential (Halo, WoW, GTAIII, RE4 and DMC) but they are definitely not the MOST influential. This list more resembles "which game is most popular among particular groups of fans".

Is not as bad as i though it would be, it has some debatable games like MW (Halo inspired MW), Uncharted (RE4+Tomb Raider inspired Uncharted) or Splinter Cell (Thief and MGS inspired Splinter Cell), but other than that, i think is pretty fair.

Well, replace Uncharted with Gears of War and that´s a good list.

I dont get why splinter cell is on this list. Also Resident evil 4 should be nowere near #1 with games like GTA3 and Halo that had a huge impact on the industry. As for the people saying Uncharted shouldnt be on the list you are crazy. No game has had such a cinematic feal as uncharted and The characters are top notch.

Bioshock- I dont think I have seen a world as well crafted as rapture. The attention to detail in the world can be seen in games like Red Dead Redemption

This is not a list of the best games but the top influential games. The dude said that uncharted inspired Assassin's Creed and Castlevania: Lords of Shadow. Assassin's Creed is older than Uncharted so the only game it inspired is Castlevania. It inspired only one game and somehow it's in top 10.:roll:
