Rumor Killer NO MGS4 for 360 EVER!!!!!!

There was a rumor going around the net for a couple of days stating that MGS4 will go to the 360. That rumor was started if I remember correctly by xboxfanboy.com or something like that. They eve stated that they wrote to here and there and they got this and that response....they even stated that they wrote to Microsoft and they recived an e-mail conforming that MGS4 in fact be on the 360.

Well it's NOT!!! get over it!! If you wanna pla MGS4, and I know that 95% of you lemmos want to that's why you guys keep making threads about it, you will have to get a PS3. It seams that these xbox fanboys talk to everyone but Konami. But enough of me explaining it.

So let the rumors die....it's been conformed a million times by Konami, Peyton and Kojima himself that MGS4 will never go to the 360. It's a PS3 exclusive. No matter how you lemmos want to....no matter how hard you wish for it, no matter how many 360 consoles where sold......IT WILL NEVER GO TO THE 360!!! Deal with it!!!

You obviously do not understand business. Even if Kojima never planned to port to the 360, if it doesnt sell on the PS3 (which the sales will definitely be low), they can make a decision right there and port it. Its about money, not fans

I do understand business!! It has been said that they have to sell 1million copies on day 1 to clear what they've spent on it.And I'm sure that it will sell 1million copies on day one! I haven't seen a PS3 owner who doesn't want MG4.

I'm mostly a cow, and a long time MGS fan, but hereare a few points of fact:

1) Never say never.

2) Konami has said that MGS4 needs to sell 1 million copies on day one, world wide. What do you think Konami will do if the PS3 doesn't deliver?

3) Many developers (and I mean MANY) have used the "we have no plans for Game X on console Y" only to port the game anywhere from 6 months to a year later. "We have no plans" is not the same thing as saying "won't happen ever". If you haven't figured that out by now then you have so little clue about the gaming business you shouldn't even be allowed to start threads here.

Ok....let me brake it down to you so you will understand. PS3 is roughly sold between 6-7 million units. Xbox 360 has sold between 12-13 million. I don't know how much did x-mas boost these numbers but regardless the Xbox 360 has sold 2x as much as the PS3 has. But it also had a year head start being the ONLY next generation system! So it has a larger install base. that's why more games are sold for Xbox 360 than for PS3....I tought that this was common sence.

Also it's pretty lame that when the 360 was the only next-gen system it only sold as much as the PS3 when there was two other next-gen system to rival with.

Anyway, even with an install base of 8 million, big games like COD4, UT3, or Assassin's Creed should break a million easily, but isnt. Face it, you cant make on the PS3 alone, especially when it takes so much more money to develop for the Cell

maybe you should also consider how many more 360 games there are to choose from, especially FPS, then look at halo 3 sales again.

Call of Duty 4 has sold 1,400,000.00 Copies on the PS3 Link

Unreal Tournament 3 has sold 110,000.00 on PS3 Link but just been out 2 weeks or so! So give it time!

Assassin's Creed sold 1,490,000.00 copies on the PS3 Link

So yea.....how can a game like MGS4 sell a million...right??

That's because of fanboys like you that don't want to give the 360 a chance. The system has by far the best games this gen! Please take off your blindfold and try the games. I hate fanboys!! Please don't call me a "Lem" as you like to call 360 fans. I have a PS2 and a PSP. Didn't buy a PS3 yet, because of all the good games on the 360. You are so annoying. I'm thinking of not getting a PS3 ever because of fanboys like you. You refuse to look at the games on the 360 which at this point and time are ahead of the games on the PS3 in terms of quality and quantity. I know the system has been out a year longer...but guess what, better games is better games. You are just a blind fanboy. Play your MGS4. I don't need it, I have too big a selection on my 360, Wii, PC to even care. You know what else is lame, the PS3 came off the best selling console of all time and was only able to keep up with the first year of the 360.

360 games sell more copies because they are better, it's simple.

Ok....let me brake it down to you so you will understand. PS3 is roughly sold between 6-7 million units. Xbox 360 has sold between 12-13 million. I don't know how much did x-mas boost these numbers but regardless the Xbox 360 has sold 2x as much as the PS3 has. But it also had a year head start being the ONLY next generation system! So it has a larger install base. that's why more games are sold for Xbox 360 than for PS3....I tought that this was common sence.

Also it's pretty lame that when the 360 was the only next-gen system it only sold as much as the PS3 when there was two other next-gen system to rival with.

That's because of fanboys like you that don't want to give the 360 a chance. The system has by far the best games this gen! Please take off your blindfold and try the games. I hate fanboys!! Please don't call me a "Lem" as you like to call 360 fans. I have a PS2 and a PSP. Didn't buy a PS3 yet, because of all the good games on the 360. You are so annoying. I'm thinking of not getting a PS3 ever because of fanboys like you. You refuse to look at the games on the 360 which at this point and time are ahead of the games on the PS3 in terms of quality and quantity. I know the system has been out a year longer...but guess what, better games is better games. You are just a blind fanboy. Play your MGS4. I don't need it, I have too big a selection on my 360, Wii, PC to even care. You know what else is lame, the PS3 came off the best selling console of all time and was only able to keep up with the first year of the 360.

I don't want to give the 360 a chance???? I played on it many times before....my sister boyfriend has one and he has a Wii as well and I tried them both and I have no problem with teh 360 as a console what so ever. My argument isn't even about the 360 itself. It's about the rumor that MGS4 will go on the 360. But it never will...and lemmos so want it...so badly want it oh god.....:D

On the other hand....you call PS3 fanboys Cows don't you?? Well I hate to be called a Cow as well but what can you do?? I don't even know where these names come from! Anyways.

There are plenty games on the 360 that I like. For example: BioShock (got it on PC) Gears of War (Got it on PC) Halo 3, Mass Effect. But to be honest...there are really three games that I only can get on the 360. Halo 3, Mass Effect and soon Ninja Gaiden 2. But for that I'm not buying a 360 when about 95% of it's exclusives can be found on the PC and I just got a new PC for Crysis and Gears and BioShock. But I'm not hateing on the consol itself.

well suit yourself, but i think we can both agree halo revolutinized the FPS genre, and MGS basically created the stealth genre

I almost chocked when you said that Halo revolutionized FPS genere. Halo is no where near that! The first one was ok (got it on PC) but wasn't too impressed by it. The second.....I don't even wanna talk about it(got it on PC as well).

I think it was Half-Life that revolitionized the FPS genere....than later on Half-Life 2. Halo has nothing on it!
