Rumor Killer NO MGS4 for 360 EVER!!!!!!

and i honestly laugh when people praise kojima like hes the master of gaming lol

kojima is a good developer but hes highly over rated hes not even in the same league as guys like john carmack shigru miyamoto and peter moulynux

last i checked these three were in the interactive artsand sciencehall of fame

and kojima isnt ....

ok listen to this because this is the thought of most lemmings,

now there are a few who do want mgs4 for 360, but most of us dont care, if it comes on 360 i may buy it but if it doesn't i wouldn't be that upset id just buy some other game and get over it. im not picking up a ps3 for a franchise that i have never really played .

and do you have any idea how many developers used the " not developing X version and this time" card? its not enough for him to just say the game is a ps3 exclusive because that could also mean its an timed exclusive. the thing cows are having a hard time understanding is that sony plans on using MGS4 to sell alot of ps3's this year..its their trump card. even if the developers planned on creating a 360 version..you think sony would let them announce that anywhere near the release of the ps3 version? of course not..that would only decrease the ammount of sales for the ps3.

I hope it stays PS3 exclusive, it will mean my PS3 gets some use in 2008.

Although sales will ultimately decide if it stays on PS3 exclusively, they have been developing this game for a while and if sales are not what they expected why would Konami not port it out?

So let the rumors die....it's been conformed a million times by Konami, Peyton and Kojima himself that MGS4 will never go to the 360. It's a PS3 exclusive. No matter how you lemmos want to....no matter how hard you wish for it, no matter how many 360 consoles where sold......IT WILL NEVER GO TO THE 360!!! Deal with it!!!

I'm mostly a cow, and a long time MGS fan, but hereare a few points of fact:

1) Never say never.

2) Konami has said that MGS4 needs to sell 1 million copies on day one, world wide. What do you think Konami will do if the PS3 doesn't deliver?

3) Many developers (and I mean MANY) have used the "we have no plans for Game X on console Y" only to port the game anywhere from 6 months to a year later. "We have no plans" is not the same thing as saying "won't happen ever". If you haven't figured that out by now then you have so little clue about the gaming business you shouldn't even be allowed to start threads here.

Does any game make a profit on day 1? Halo 3 may have but I dont know considering the insane advertising put to it. If no game really makes a profit on day 1 then why would MGS4? It will sell well as it is being released worldwide.

bottom line mgs 4 on the 360 is possible very likely if mgs4 can make bank on the ps3

Kojima said it on the 20th Anniversary Celebration of MGS! He also recieved a MGS cake from Kaz Hirai himself and a huge buket of flowers(it's a tradition in Japan, doesn't mean that they are gay)

You obviously do not understand business. Even if Kojima never planned to port to the 360, if it doesnt sell on the PS3 (which the sales will definitely be low), they can make a decision right there and port it. Its about money, not fans

I do understand business!! It has been said that they have to sell 1million copies on day 1 to clear what they've spent on it.And I'm sure that it will sell 1million copies on day one! I haven't seen a PS3 owner who doesn't want MG4.
