I feel by having an awards show it casualises (is that a word lol) the industry.

Might be possible but it's unlikely. Anyone who buys EA, it would be a huge blow to the competition. Fifa exclusivity would be the difference maker. It would mean an instant win in Europe and other countries who are as into football. Probably the US as well because of their American sports games.

It would be a crippling move to who ever is bold enough to make that happen.
