Rumor: Popular 360 exclusive game could no longer be exclusive

Whew, I was worried for a sec. If it went to PS3 I'd care. I'd feel like we lost something. But going to PC doesn't matter in the slightest to me. I don't have a gaming PC, and neither do any of the cows I know personally.

it doesnt matter the game can be found on more than one system that means not exclusive many PS3/PC owners and PC owners dont need a 360 for the game.

the only way you can keep that as an AAAE is if the game turns out to be a completely new game like Gears ODST or something like that but being gears 2 it won't be exclusive everyone agrees to this and it's even written on the System Wars rules.

MS owns the publishing rights to Gears 1 and Gears 2 (and presumably Gears 3, although there is an old rumour that said Epic still held the rights beyond the first 2 installments). There is a zero percent chance of either title going to the PS3.

Honestly as a PS3 owner and a PC/laptop owner, this game would definately take my $30 providing that the specs are close to the original Gears. Hopefully.

I'm actually surprised to see how quickly PS3 fanboys jumped all over this one. I personally couldn't give a crap regarding which game is also on a console as well as PC. If it's on the PS3 and not on the XBox 360, that's a reason to get a PS3 in my book - and vice versa.

What I find FUNNY about this is that if the PS3 has such great games lately (it does, just not as never-ending as the fanboys make it seem. The SP campaigns do end, and then there's nothing to play again, unless you are of the minority that plays MP on the PS3), why is it the fanboys feel the need to ramble on "x360 lost an exclusive hurah!" "IT COUNTS! IT COUNTS" "haha, xbox 360 sucks now because the --PC-- is getting a game that's been out on the xbox 360 for over a year".

360 shares most of its games with PC anyway, nothing new here.

This would only be a big deal in System Wars. Not so much in the real world.

"exclusive to xbox 360 and windows" thats what it says on the front of my mass effect box, even if gears 2 wen t to PC, it wouls say the same thing, so either way, it's a microsoft exclusive, besides, it's only a rumour, and cliffy b already stated it wasn't going to the PC,um, which one do i believe, the rumour, or the guy that created the game saying it would never happen, besides all these 'lost exclusives' must be really damaging the 360, it's still 7 million ahead of the ps3, and the ps3's latest 'sales spike' barely put a dent in that lead, face it cows, no matter how many exclusive the 360 loses, the ps3 is going to be dead last at the end of this gen.delta3074

Indeed. The game is coming out to the PC. Not PS3. Don't they know that they're actually supporting MS by buying their games on PC? That just means more money for them in their pockets, not Sony's.:lol:

MS does do more than just games, you know. Without them, we wouldn't have Windows, now would we? They probably ramble on them losing their exclusives probably because they're insecure that the 360 is more popular than the PS3. Also, there are more exclusives from MS that sells better on the 360/PC much more than Sony's exclusives anyday (although they are good). I guess the now 27 million PS3 owners just don't care or that most of them only bought the machine for Blu-Ray.
