anyone not stop to think that the reason that 360 version used for the trailers was not because ps3 is behind with production but because 360 multiplats supposed to have better looking multiplats than ps3
No the game is delayed because Take 2 is waiting for a larger install base after this Christmas to release the game. nikolajz1
That's my take on it as well. Since the release date was set before the delay of the PS3-launch there are no doubt a lot fewer potential customers out there now than they hoped for. GTA4 is a very expensive game - a few million customers more or less is worth a lot of money in the large scheme of things.
I'm quite interested in comparing the two versions when they finally arrive though. I will be surprised if the PS3-version is the best one.

the sites pretty bisaed so im not believing it at all.rockstar said thats its vbecause both consoles are having theyre issues and its difficult trying to develop around them on both consoles.
the silly part about this is that everyone is waiting for Rockstar to annonce the reason behind the delay. when we all know the real reasn behind it is.how many dev's have to say the ps3 is hard to make games for and they take longer to make for it. countless dev's that make games for both systems have been saying th same thing about the ps3 and the 360. that the 360 is easier to dev for than the ps3. we have seen screens and trailers from the 360 version. but nothing from the ps3 version. when will people understand that it is the ps3 that is holding it up from release with there contract they have with "R". if not the 360 version would be done and ready to release like so many other games that came out on 360 and then the ps3 later. so keep waiting for "R" to release a statment about the delay.when so many people in the industry aready know. the ps3 version is the hold up
