Rumor: Splinter Cell Conviction coming to PS3

Well, SC:C already coming to PC, so its actually no surprise that SC;C coming to PS3, and Ubisoft said that SC:C can be palyed on PS3 as well

Although I more prefer ME and ME2 coming to PS3 instead this

Not a difficult rumour to believe.

A potentially great game coming o all HD platforms is always a good thing.

I think its obvious it will happen.. the game company said their focusing on ps3 and 360 now so multiplat = a bunch a of money which is the reason they even make games.. if it does go to ps3 i'll probably get it

I don't consider SC:C coming to PC as a valid indicator for this releasing on PS3. Specifically because Microsoft have been involved with numerous PC/360 exclusive deals and even coined the phrase "exclusive to Windows and Xbox 360" themselves.Not to mention, they also support their GFW platform which SC:C will be a part of.

If I was going to use anything as a sign for a PS3 release, it would be Ubisoft's track record for multiplatform releases and the fact that MS is not publishing the title.

First, HipHopGamer makes this thread insta-fail.

Second, why is it that cows always dismiss that 360 games have sales value for the 360 platform because its on the PC, always claim they don't need a 360 to play that game because they can play it on their PCs (by using that argument, they infer that they do have one thats up to gaming specs)... yet always want these 360/PC cross games for their PS3s? :|

He's right, i just watched the video and according to hiphopgamer Conviction is not going to ps3 but the next one is.. as their already working on one which is the next Splinter Cell the one after the ps2 version and sony is helping with it as well.. hmm make sense to me

However, it would be cool. I'd be willing to give up MGS4's exclusitivity for Convictions.

I'm not saying HipHopGamer is right or even has any credibility, but what has he been wrong about? I don't keep up with him/them(?), so I don't know about any other rumors they talked about. I think most people here don't even know who they are and see the name and ignore it.

It's not like Splinter Cell was ever exclusive. Back in the PS2 days i used to dismiss it as a MGS clone, but when i got my 360, i bought Chaos Theory. I's not probably taken the crown from MGS imo.

I still want to see the Hobo-Sam edition though, they shouldnt have scrapped it :(

If it does come to PS3 I wouldn't expect it to run so well. Bad things happens when games start out as a 360 exclusive, and then move to PS3 (this happened with Bayonetta).

Its made by Ubisoft so it probably will go multiplatform, unless Microsoft have paid for permanent exclusivity.

It's ubisoft and most Splinter Cell games ends up on Sony consoles anyways, no idea why some lemmings are acting it's an exclusive series.Sollet
