I don't think Nintendo Goes to the Game Developers Conference.

But apparently Iwata has something to say Wednesday.

i know the anouncment that would blow the top ---wiis 99 dollar price point (since we are nearin the end this is time\) plus the following games

and if they do announce this one i k now id be jumping ---stunt race fx 2

but one no one would ever see by a mile ---rockstar making gta san andreas 2 -- exclusively on the nintendo wii and 3ds ,

also im guessing at rares properties such as banjo and perfect dark are back with the right hands! a far fetched guess -wii 2 that is fully bc with all nintendo products including vc games

Anyway I doubt Ninty would want to announce a new console just yet. I bet it's an announcement about a unknown game or a game that wecurrently know something about.

I'd like a cool, huge lineup of Wii games. So far this year, it's slim pickings with the only major releases seeming to be Conduit 2, Modern Warfare 3, and Zelda. By contrast, for the 360, you have Dead Space 2, Homefront, LA Noire, Modern Warfare 3, Mass Effect 3, Gears of War 3...

If I've learned anything at all from coming to SW for 7 years, it's that when you hear a rumor about a Nintendo announcement you don't believe it. I've been through way too many threads about Nintendo buying Capcom, or the Revolution actually being some sort of super-powered VR deviced that they were going to show off on the last day of E3 according to some hidden message embedded in the Nintendo web site.

In all seriousness we'll probably get a new console next year. With games like Zelda nad Kirby still coming out for the Wii they need to keep people interested for the time being. Maybe a code name announcement at E3 and a full reveal and release next year.
