Why not spend that money on someone who needs it. Donate them to Children Hospital. Why buy a bunch of football player, who get paid too much, those?

Knowing the NFL they would of fined Wilson if he bought them all PS4's and posted a pic of it.

Considering MS is based just outside of Seattle I have a hard time believing that.

I think it's more likely that it's a MS PR stunt considering MS has a broadcasting contract with the NFL.

If I was RGIII I wouldn't buy my O-line anything..... he got murdered this year.

I'm a Lions season ticket holder. Stafford's picks are still a sore subject for me but I still thought this was funny. I just hope the Packers end up winning the division this Sunday. The Pack is the closest thing to a real football team the NFC North has.

Honestly, the only reason Romo is still an NFL QB is his ability to dodge defensive lineman. That's his one gimmick, he's a lot like Fran Tarkenton: he's slippery and throws a lot of interceptions. Year after year he makes bad decisions and loses the game at the last minute. The only thing that throws people off is when he hits one of his big tight ends or oversized receivers down the field because he ducked or swirled around somebody.

Donovan made it to a SB and the playoffs more consistently, could run down the field and get first downs, and hit his receivers more often.

He also always had a good running game and good defense to lean on. Not to mention TO in his prime the SB year.

Romo is a more accurate thrower(hits his receivers more often? Mcnabb is a sub 60% passer), a smarter player than McNabb ever was, and has never had a jim Johnson defense carrying his ass to the playoffs. Romo may be a choker(and by no means am I absolving him of his horrible ass picks), but this myth where he is the reason the Cowboys lose is ridiculous.

Romo's carried a bad offensive line(his entire career), a horrible defense, and a shit coaching staff(notice how reid is successful in spite of McNabb, Wade Phillips and Jason Garret can't say that). Plus he's made bum receivers look good as well. Miles Austin has had one good year, Terrence Williams, Cole Beasly, Roy Williams, Laurent Robinson, etc all these guys looked productive with Romo, and have been the kind of guys who have been his number 2 option.

McNabb was a guy given way too much credit for playing in Reids system(and consistently being the reason they would lose when they got to the playoffs), and the team dominated the NFC more on Jim's defenses. It's not a shocker that the Eagles went on the downswing once those defenses weren't there to bail Philly's offense out.

uh, yes he was. Romo hasnt achieved even a small percentage of what McNabb has in the league, or even his teams franchise. making the the play-offs once in his career with the Cowboys, and getting booted out soon there after, does not make him better than McNabb. i don't see why u would even think it would.

McNabb wasnt the best quarterback ever but he and the Eagles ran the NFC East handily for a decade plus under Reid. Mcnabb even took the Eagles to the Superbowl once. while Romo has barely taken the Cowboys anywhere in his tenure with them. lets be fair here.

They ran a bum division for a short period, and then promptly became middle of the pack when the rest of that conference became less mediocre. McNabb's success in the playoffs is an illusion that's a product of Quarterbacks getting way too much credit/blame for team success. In games where the Eagles defense actually needed McNabb to help them out he didn't show up, forget choking, he puked in a superbowl.

Romo is a choker sure, but he's not exactly piloting a team with a good defense now is he. The few times he's had a defense they've made the playoffs, the years he hasn't, they've missed. Great quarterback? **** no. But he's still very much a good quarterback, with a skill set that was superior to what McNabb brought to the table. Acting like his visits to the playoffs weren't more a product of a team is silly.

@jg4xchamp: for ten years? really? they're even leading the division right now as we speak. that's a fluke too? every one of the 16 games in each of the ten plus seasons the Eagles won their division were against bum teams too? the NFC Championship wins were against bum teams too? them playing the patriots down to the last second in the superbowl was a fluke too? McNabb didnt Quarterback any of those games? really? wow smh.

i mean yea, McNabb has choke once or twice...he has thrown some balls in the dirt...he has cost the team some wins during various seasons. but you can't take away his accomplishments over it. despite all his shortcomings he had the Eagles at the top of its division in almost every year he was on the team.

i'm hearing a lot of excuses for why Romo has been failing with the cowboys. while being told excuses why McNabb succeeded in his time with the Eagles. its odd. also there was no few times Romo made the playoffs. the number is way smaller lol.

@fueled-system:

does Romo have Rings? thats the discussion here. McNabb in comparison to Romo. i'm an Eagles fan...i'm well aware of my team not winning a ring yet. but Romo should not ever be said to be better than McNabb. because that's flatout false.

They won one NFC title game, they won a bum division, otherwise McNabb has done very little getting them those wins. I have no beef with the Eagles, they are a relatively good organization. But those teams that "mcnabb" took the playoffs weren't winning games on his legs or arms, they were winning it on the backs of Brian Dawkins and those defenses. When they needed help from the offense against the likes of the Rams, The Bucs, the Panthers, he did not show up. The NFC title game he won against the Falcons he was more game manager than game winner.

Again is Romo a choker? yep. Is he great? no. But should his lack of playoff success(or the fact that's only been there 3 times) should be offset by what McNabb's teams got him? No. Because in any other aspect of the game be it who had a more accurate arm, who's won more games with less, who's actually been able to hold his own in a league filled with good quarterback play, and all that jazz Romo's a better player.

This decade of great play of McNabb is more myth than reality. He was at best above average sans like 2 or 3, and they barely skipped a beat when he was gone. The difference for Reid was that the defense became bummish, and poof no NFC playoffs. Meanwhile this guy had shown he could win a few games with guys like Jay Feely(or was it fiedler? one of those two), Jeff Garcia, and more recently Michael Vick who was never a good passer.

@Chutebox: so you want me to believe that McNabb had nothing to do with ten plus years of winning football in Philadelphia? that it was all the defense and better upper office management that won those games and the FN quarterback had no bearing on the wins, at all...for ten years? NFC championship, 1st and 2nd round playoff showings, and a Superbowl appearance included. McNabb didnt contribute to none of that ur saying...it was all defense?

Romo isnt a new up n comer. he's been in the league for a long while now...but he hasnt had nearly as much success. i hear u with the team wasnt great and this and that. but what big name receivers did McNabb have in his tenure? TO was only for one year, n they went to the superbowl with him. who else besides Desean Jackson at the tail end of time here did he have to throw to that was noteworthy. can you even name them...along with saying they were this great receiving core? the Eagles teams werent great...the offense during those ten years was always lacking in one way or another. but they still got their wins and achievements. why? i'd like to hear how...

It's always adorable when the Romo haters love piling on Romo for being a choker, and then love to pretend their guy wasn't the same shit.

i already admitted to McNabbs shortcomings in this very thread. i've been fair to both sides....you havent though.

Did they lose several games in a row or something? That's pretty harsh.

Winners go with the X1. Fact

Everyone on the Texans probably own PS4s

I still fondly remember the shitkicking my Niners gave the Texans earlier this season...they never recovered.

k, whats your point? a lot of teams beat the texans this year.

@mems_1224: Let's have a beer. Our teams are the worst in the league this year. Here's to next year. *tips mug*

@jg4xchamp: You're starting to sound like the Romo apologists you loathe. He he he... both Romo and McNabb are bums. We should all be talking about better QBs.

Eh I wouldn't call them bums(I think it's harsh, they were top 10 QBs while they were in the league, Romo's obviously falling off now that there is a new bread of Qbs to fill out that top 10), but yeah sure. Similar scenario. They are above average-good never great, bring some impressive physical and mental gifts, but they've lost a lot of big games with poor performances on their part.

Regardless I don't think Romo has been put in a position to actually fight with in recent years. He's been carrying a poor defense and poor offensive line. The worst you could say about McNabb was that he had mediocre receivers for a large portion of his career(because christ could James Thrash not catch a cold).
