Those are some really vague system requirements...

lol, even the game's requirements are stupid. Why use 4k for recommended? And isn't that "DX11 GPU" a bit vague?
The requirements seem quite normal. Like pretty much any dx11 PC port now.
I sincerely hope it looks much better than the original. And I don't mean resolution wise. They said they would develop the port as an actual PC game, let's see if they were telling the truth.
PC gamers wouldn't pirate a "meh" or benchmark game as much as you think they will. If the game actually did well and made people excited to play it, then people would "pirate it to hell and back".
That's exactly why they would pirate it. Game is mediocre, but it is a really good benchmark. People are not gonna be lining up to pay for a benchmark, hence it will get pirated to hell and back.
Crytek games always get heavily pirated, because they are visual showcases.
Crysis 2 if I'm not mistaken was the only Crytek game to get massively pirated for benchmarking while the other Crysis games got smoked by other games like Fifa in illegal downloads.
If I'd throw a magical number on how many copies I think Ryse will get pirated, my guess would be around 80,000 downloads at most (on a single site), which might seem a lot but it's no where close to beating the top pirated games which usually get 190,000+ downloads.
I think there was a number out there that Watch Dogs reached around 250,000+ downloads.
Only 80,000?
Lol, my guess would be in the millions.

I think they did a good job to optimize the game . Crysis 3 was a demanding game but it also scaled well on multiple threads .
@parkurtommo: Notice I said at most on one site, there's more than one torrent site. Example if there's 5 torrent sites and it goes something like 40k dls on websites 1-3, 75k dls on website 4 and website 5 has 80k dls = a combined 275,000 dls.
Like I said earlier people already know Ryse is a below average game (honestly I'm only gonna get it cause I love anything about the Roman Empire), even if all they wanted to do was use it for a benchmark, there's better benchmarks out there unless you wanna try a 4k benchmark with Ryse.
Also Ryse is on Pre sale on Steam if anyone cares, it's $39.99
Will it have a benchmark loop? because if it doesn't what is the point, it is not like somebody is going to play this crap...
