Safe assumption Spore Wii will be heavily different?

I just came across this:

EA "Not sure if Spore is Possible on the Xbox 360 & PS3"

Now, those of you that have read the latest Gamespot hands on preview of SPORE, they explain how this game will have intergrated community's linked to things such as youtube and myspace embedded aswell, along with a whole UI inside the game with uplaoded community features/websits ect ect.

Pretty much safe to say, that EA and Maxis have been working on the biggest commmunity game to date, which dwarfs past attempts.

If there are many blockades in the way of doing this onthe 360/PS3. Then imo its safe to assume the Wii version will be some silly spin off like the DS .... as we all know, the Wii's online is by far the worse of the 4 systems, the technicality is awell (while spore's art ****is simplistic the PC versions supports many full custimized worlds & AI at once.)

Is it safe to assume? Will this be a repeat of GRAW 360 & PC? Your thoughts?

Look, they made Assassin's Creed for DS, and Prince of Persia for GBA, they can make SPORT for Wii.

It should play totally different, but it will have the name, SPORE on it. Perhaps SPORE Wii.

Past the land creature stage, it looks very good for what it is.... planets/cities/explosions all look nice .... and you can have serious looking spacehips if you desire/vehicles and so forth...

Mods will make more seriouls creatures and planets ect aswell.

I don't know what you are talking about, the game looks great on PC. At least Heros of Might and Magic 3 has better graphics than anything the Wii could offer.

It's still not a heavy graphical game.

I'm not defending the Wii.

Hyping this game because of it's graphics and claim the better looking on is the best is like claiming civilization 4 is better than 3 because it has better graphics.

I'm not saying the wii version will be equal to the pc version at all but when you use the graphical difference as fact of why the wii version will be worse on an already mediocre looking pc game I don't know what to say.

I asked you question. Do you think a sequel to a game is going to be better than the first one because the new one is going to have better graphics?

well if the core gameplay of the PC version is different enough then sure it will be considered exclusive, but geow has more content and is not considered exclusive, will ME be considered exclusive just because the PC version might not have performance issues?

it will probably have the same basic gameplay and graphics n stuff but maybe just have a bunch of premade content already with the ability to download other peoples stuff.

dont under estimates wii online. i heard mario kart is gonna have its own mario kart channel that has leaderboards and stuff like that. they could create a some kind of spore channel or use wiiconnect24 to come up with something similar to the PC version.

Wii can do those graphics, looks a lot like the Final Fantasy CC graphics to me.

I think they were saying the PS3 and 360 aren't a good fit for this game because of their CONTROLERS. The Wiimote and DS pad are a lot like a computer mouse.

from your link it says NOTHING about it not being possible on 360/ps3 because of the online.

they say technical issues. that could mean the interface for a controller to edit the models. we don't know.

also if brawl can map share i don't see why spore can't creature share. it's not exactly a lot of actual data that gets transfered and it's asynchronous so it's really pretty easy to set up.

Yeah from what I saw on Spore for PC then stuff on the DS. They are NOT the same game man. Would be unfair to the PC version to be compared to the Wii version. I mean come on guys, if COD4 is not on the Wii or Assassins Creed or many multiplat games, and they say it can't be done on the 360/PS3 for Spore do you now think all of the sudden it can rather be done for the Wii? If this is so then I guess Crysis Wii is around the corner and Far Cry 2 Wii and Stalker Wii and many PC games right?

Only time will tell, there's a good chance it will be different enough to warrant exclusive status here in SW.
