To me it's Crackdown. I don['t like GTA and Saints Row is pretty much just like it IMO. I thought the same about Crackdown til I got some agility orbs and started jumping higher and running faster. Althouhg neither are games I would say I like, I would play Crackdown and Saints Row to me is unplayable.
I've played crackdown at a friend's but he claims there's not much to do after u beat it and get all the orbs. idk bout saints but i don't think crackdown is the way to go
Saints Row has some major bugs that happen sometimes that hinder gameplay. (hostage mission when you go on the highway and your car disappears and the hostee gets out)
Crackdown is fun for about 3 hours after that its the same thing over and over and over again. (Collect orbs, kill the bosses, rinse repeat)
I would have to say sr because theres more to do but it has some major bugs.
Saints Row has far more variety to its gameplay than Crackdown, but I really enjoyed what Crackdown had to offer, in terms of super powers and jumping puzzles to collect all the orbs or unlock achievements. Long-term you are probably better with Saints Row but Crackdown isn't a slouch either, IMO its more fun but that fun doesn't last as long as SR.
Crackdown is a better game overall but Saints Row offers a nice chunk of gameplay. Both games need polishing. I had a lot of problems with the sub-games in Saints Row and the races in Crackdown are stupid because you end up slaughtering hundreds of civilians by the time you are done running some of them.
Too tough to call for me, Saints Rows funcampaign and ending vs. Crackdowns incredible co-op? Why even choose? Can't you buy both for less than $60 bucks used someplace?
