Sales are officially back in. (changing the SW rules again)

Apparently, it only matters when Playstations sell.

(I'm curious as to why all SW rules are in favor of cows)

Please stop it. PS3 is selling well and some people are happy about it. (especially after years of abuse). Leave it at that , no need to be jealous.

Lets be honest here. the only thing that really matters in sw are the games that come out on ps3 and 360. nothing else, no matter how people want to spin it, ps3 and 360 get the most talk here on sw. sales are good but no matter how mush the ps3 sells or the 360, we cant play sales.

I never knew sales were officially off. I've always seen sales topics, including stickied NPD sales.

However, none of this changes the fact that quality of a game> the sales of a game.

I usually find the above is the problem when people make these sales threads.

TC brings up a viable point and you call him jealous? The cows over the last year stated sales don't matter, now they magically matter again. Funny isn't it? Then again all Sony has to do is maintain these numbers for another 40 weeks, good luck on that...

Oh please. :lol: I don't understand this mass generalization that PS3 owners all stated sales don't "matter".

I for one don't mind sales threads but all of a sudden, no PS3 owner is allowed to mention sales because lemmings are using what some cows said to pass other PS3 Owners off as hypocrites. :roll:

The only time sales don't matter is when judging the quality of a game.

sorry but you're wrong, sales always seemed to matter, beenfollowing SW forabout5 yrs and sales topics are always present on a daily basis.. surely you have a small faction of fanboys from any sides which give sales importance depending on how their prefared system does but surely one cannot say sales in here started being important now, simply cause PS3 looks like it enjoyed a great week of sales..

I know that you may just be concerned about 'cows' showing their interest in sales in the past couple of days, but dont forget lemmings reminding us for the past 3 yrs of the larger install base and better sales whenever 360 sold more than PS3 on a daily basis..

Also 'sheep' usually get shut down when they mention sales, with comments such as 'sales dont matter' cause Wii has no games, or else mediocre visuals etc..

Sales was always an important subject in SW and will always remain.. if you open your eyes you'll realise its not PS3 fanboys who spin/mention sales when it favours them, but all fanboy factions..

Hypocrisy and opportunism. There you have SW in three words.

well one would assume cows have been doing it longer considering many followers have been around since the PS1 days, MS came in the console market later.. However lets not forget that if cows went from sales is everything to sales mean nothing this gen, Lemmings also went from sales mean nothing (last gen) to sales is everything (this gen)..

I've said it countless times before. SW is designed so only the PS3 or Xbox 360 can win. Its horrible but theres nothing that can be done about it.

Sony fanboys are the worst aye? Such a pitty that some of the WORST fanboys in the last couple of years have actually been lemmings aye. Obamanian anyone? (or whatever that guys name was). Not to mention some others, anyone want to help list them down - i could go back through my comment history and find them but i have work to do.

EDIT: ALL FANBOYS ARE BAD. I don't see how any of the different groups of fanboys out fanboy the other. The only group that stays basically mute most of the time are sheep. Then come hermits, and then system wars are filled with heaps of cows and lemmings.

I seem to remember just a few days back there was 2 or 3 topics about the ps3 only selling about 800 units in Japan.. was that also cows trying to own them self? this thread fails. trying to call out one fanboy group as hypocrites when all of them are (like this topic).. so please stop crying, and get over it. It will obviously turn around at some point again and then the lemmings can make the sails threads again.

No, the only thing that actually matters in the end are games. In SW every little detail that by great amounts of spin can be employed to somehow claim ownage over the competition counts to a lot of SW posters.

I never cared for sales. I mean I hope they do well for all games i like seeing as sequels are always welcome. But what do console sales prove, they just guve fanboys ammunition against one another.

Why does it matter if they boast? Lemmings boasted when xbox 360 doubled the sales of the PS3 during Christmas season. Let them have their fun. does it really effect you?
