Yea I just bought The Cave on the eShop and it was $16.04. So tax was a little. I'm not really worried about it though.

Not true at all about cod games.. I saw Black ops 1 for $20 and that came out in 2010.. and mw2 was around $25... that came out a little over a year ago. Hell black ops 2 was 39.00 at best buys in December. Midnightshade29
Black Ops 2 is not $40 everywhere though, it's still being sold at Launch Price here.
Modern Warfare 3 is still being sold at launch price.
Doing some research shows Black Ops is actually around the $30-$40 mark.
Only Call of Dutys that are $20 or less are COD4, MW2, W@W.
If you see them being sold for less, then you're not buying a PC copy or Buying them from an online store, or your store has a sale going on.

Thank you for the tip. Why are they taxing in the first place though, when i don't have to pay on psn.. It doesn't make sense. Oh and since I got your attention.. what would you recommend on eshop thats under $20?[QUOTE="Midnightshade29"][QUOTE="charizard1605"]Go to settings in the eShop, Location settings, and enter 90210 for your Zip Code. No more sales tax. You're welcome.Ly_the_Fairy
It just depends where the eshop store is actually located.
I know Steam charges sales tax if you're a Washington resident as that's where Valve is located, and places like Newegg charge sales tax if you're a California resident.
They have to. It's federal law. If they have a building in the state that you are buying from, you have to pay sales tax. It's so online retailers don't have an unfair advantage over retail stores.Yep... hell Dragon Quest 4 and 5 are still at $30 when they are remakes for one and have been out since 2008/2009, there is no reason they aren't cheaper. Yet I can get LBP carting on the psn store for $10 , a game that came out last month.Midnightshade29
Dragon Quest 4 and 5 are $20 new from gamestop and $15 used
