Yeah, and Apple and EA and Activision and UbiSoft and Blizzard and AMD should also do their own consoles, am rite? :P

The times when every second company made a console are long over and to be frank I think we don't really need more than three home consoles on the market. Infact I'd be happy if there was just one console.

Absolutely not. Anything I have ever owned by Samsung has been crap and breaks. Now I avoid them at all costs.

They have a small partnership with Sony which really does not mean alot, but there share some technology so I am sure it would create problems.

No, my samsung TV broke, my Samsung phone broke, my Samsung Netbook's wireless driver died. Samsung make poor quailty stuff.

Samsung 3DO says Hi. They have already attempted to enter the game console market and failed.

The PC already covers the clone gaming system business model.

thats the 3DO, 3DO sold the concept samsung was just one of the manufacture like goldstar or panasonic they did the same for the saturn in korea. Of course it failed having the samsung name on the console didnt make the console or library better.

From what I've heard its basically last years G10 model, though for a little bit more you could always get the 42inch G25. All in all, both the S2 and G25 are said to have great pictures. Though from what I've read the G25 is of better value. S2=$765 G25=$990 from Panasonic USA's official website.

I have yet to see a TV that surpasses the new Samsung Tv that supports that 3D thing. Must be 7 series or 8 series?. I have seen a lot of Panasonic in shops but they never look as nice imo.

You've obviously never seen many TVs. The best flat panel TV you can buy is still the Pioneer Elite Kuro PRO-111FD, 101FD, 141FD, and 151FD which came out at the end of 2008. The next best TV is the Panasonic VT25, and VT20 (3DTV) 2010, and after that is the Panasonic V10 which came out in 2009. No Samsung TV has ever topped any of those.
