I got all of the consoles, so I'll just say something positive about each one.
PlayStation 4: I don't really have anything positive to say about the system itself, the 'power' factor is irrelevant to me as I have a very strong PC and the games so far have been mostly acceptable in my eyes, everything else about it has been safe, business as usual, no risks, no real leaps in innovation, predictability and slow progression. The only thing I can give kudos for in all reality is Sony being very developer friendly this generation and getting a lot of games on the platform, most can be played on PC but the effort is appreciated.
Xbox One: The system itself has progressed and evolved at a very surprising rate. The early games on the system were just okay, it's gotten some very good ones recently, and as far as I'm concerned Microsoft has produced a more cohesive, developed console eco-system that continues to change and update for the better surpassing the competition. Microsoft needs to get on the ball with independent games, I don't know what they're doing but they need to approach it like they did the 360, they're getting left behind.
Wii U: It's a fun little system, it doesn't do much except play games but at the end of the day it provides a good Nintendo based experience, which is the basis of its existence at this point.
nyadc: "I don't see it selling more than 28 million units by the end of 2015, what I do see happening though is Microsoft catching up, revealing real sales data and then surpassing Sony."
Expected nothing less from you after that quote.
Golden!
