It's great, leagues beyond DoA4. Much more depth and more features (as well as more replay value). I guess you're just not into fighters, or maybe you're just not good at the game.Saturos3091
I dont know how good you have to be, but I beat the story mode with 5 different people on hard mode in 30 min, with out any practice. Just not feeling the way the game plays.

Play some ranked matches. The CPU can't think like a Human. I am loving this game right now. Tons of replay value.
Soul Calibur 4 isn't for everyone, and Story Mode was definitely lacking...Tower of Lost Souls is much longer and presents alittle more of a challenge though...take your skills online though if you're so good on Hard mode...also there's create-a-characterjohnnyv2003
I never said I was good, just stated what I had done. Im going to give online a try in a minute.
sc was never that good i couldn't understand the hype best fighters are tekken, V and DOA and dont go doa4 suked its still good and it was a launch game and were probably not gonna see a doa5. sc just isnt very deep it plays like a button smasher with no depthGen007
I seriously came across some people in the ranked games who are harder then the CPU at the highest difficulty.-Renegade
Is the game better to play with the d-pad? The ps3 version was all out so I got the 360 ver, and the d-pad sucks so its all analog stick, the moves seem harder to pull off on que.

well i mean beating it on hard mode with 5 different characters with no practice in 30 minutes is pretty good....so might have more of a challenge online or with Tower of Lost Souls

I honestly don't know some people have no issuse with the analog stick. I don't want to tell you the wrong thing but I am like you I cannot pull off most of the moves with the analog stick.

As for SC4 I'm enjoying the game already clocked in 30hrs. When I play online I only lag problems once. Although story mode sucks this time around the CaS improvement's and online mode make up for it.
I'm still having fun with it,but I am starting to get tired of it (I've been playing it for nearly 50 hours). IMO DoA4 is MUCH more fun...I've been playing that game for nearly 3 years and I'm still not tired of it. Don't really know why,but SCIV just can't keep me in like DoA,and it doens't even have a character customization. o.O Maybe it's due to the counteless combos you can make up in DoA?killab2oo5
Wow 50 hrs, I would be sick of any game by then.

For once I actually agree with you.
DOA is nothing but a button masher. As for SCIV I am enjoying my rental and will probably be buying it soon.lalanganHave you played DoA?If so,did you play against people who actually know what they're doing?
