The Xbox one and especially the Wii U isn't that platform.

But they get paid regardless. A publisher hires them, they develop the game, and the publisher releases it. The publisher takes the financial hit, which is pretty much always because PG's game sell like shit.

Bloodborne wasn't so much dumbed down as just a removal of some of the RPG stats and made to have a faster paced gameplay imo. The game is stellar and a contender for GOTY.

Platinum's games sell vastly more in the west.

@deadline-zero0: If I remember correctly, the only Platinum Game that sold so well was Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance. Rising was the highest game they ever sold from both West/East but however, PS3 version sold the most. I really enjoy Revengeance and it's one of the best Metal Gear spin-off game I played a few years back.

It will be 720p, overhyped garbage, coming to PC, and a flop.

Platinum's titles have, historically, sold not so great. Rising sold 1.7M last account, after the PC release. Doing the math from memory, only 1/4 of the sales where from Japan. And that's considering Metal Gear is big over there.

Then again, the MGS brandis the only reason why it sold so many anywhere.
