Yea they sure do. Both Resident evil games and Red Steel have sold over a million. Then there's Guitar Hero which is in the vicinity of two million I believe.
What freaking interview is TS mentioning???Chutebox
Lol the only thing I can think of is the GT interview but that wouldn't really make much sense seeing as Reggie didn't mention any specific titles at all... You have seen the gametrailers interview right?

This is news to me...Is it really worth watching?
If not, gimme the low down!
What's the matter if Nintendo doesn't get good 3rd party titles. All Nintendo needs is a Super Mario 3D game, a Mario Kart game and a Super Smash Bros. game and they have kicked Sony's but! Dion4ever
apart from those everyone knows the rest are mediocre titles... nothing else to offer..

Wrong. What about Donkey Kong, Star Fox, Zelda, Super Paper Mario, Metroid Prime 3 Corruption and many more that share such fine quality. I said the 3 games mentioned in my last post as I stated that those games are all Nintendo needs, but there are also heeps more![QUOTE="Rhubarb9"]do non party mini third party games even sell on wii?

Couple that with both No More Heroes and Zack&Wiki selling enough to make a good profit and allow their creators to consider sequals...same with the trauma center games.
As pretty much everyone saw from the Sony interview, the exclusives mentioned were:
Resistance 2
Killzone 2
LBP
GT5
MGS4
Home
As you can see, with the exception of MGS4 all of these titles are 1st party or 2nd party. When asked about 3rd party games, the person interviewed hemmed and hawed and said something about "up to the 3rd parties", which we all know means Sony is being arrogant again and don't think they need any more titles.
Compare that the interview with Reggie, who only mentioned Nintendo titles. Besides, we all know that, for the most part, the only good games on Nintendo systems are 1st party (at least since the GC).
Considering both camps biggest titles are going to be first party, I think this means that, for possibly the first time in history, SCE is actually going head to head with Nintendo.
Bets on who will win? (ie.push their console better) I'm betting on SCE.rumtumtugger
You forgot the part right before he says "up to the 3rd parties" where he says those games are important.
[QUOTE="rumtumtugger"]Don't get me wrong, I want Sony to win. It's just that they didn't seem interested in 3rd party games, and for once they might be right.
Chutebox
I honestly don't see where you are getting that idea from.
Except MGS4, Sony didn't mention a single 3rd party game.

They mentioned GTA4 and Haze. Who's making LBP? I don't know if that's 3rd party or not. They also briefly mention, but not talk about Final Fantasy at the very end. But they said 3rd party games are important, but it's up to the devs if they exclusive or not.
