The gist of it? Making real and well thought out posts that also contained me calling people idiots, and stupid.
Frankly I think it was a gross overreaction, banning someone permanently for calling people dumb is pretty asinine regardless of the board rules.
I actually noticed some of those posts and I was thinking, why isn't he banned over this, If I would do this they'll ban me sooner or later, I still didn't risk it though, I have been moderated before so I have learned to use a little nuance. It's a pity though, especially now with the upcoming scorpio. I hope you find a way to be a resident again.

That's the problem, they don't properly escalate their bans or punishment for posting violations.
You get warnings, you might get a day ban, another warning and then just *poof* you're permanently banned.

well I have gotten a first strike now and then in the 7 years I am here but suddenly I got an immediate second strike and it had been a really long time since I had a first strike, I though they would give me a first strike again before giving me a second strike but I guess the offense was severe enough for the mod that moderated me.
I tried to debate it with the community manager because I didn't think the offense was that severe, I explained to her that I was from another country , another culture and so on, but there was nothing I could do, so I adapted. Since then I'm quite carefull with my words but I have gotten used to it now. Still, I they had given me a first strike I would have been more carefull as well, I was never modded for the same posting violation, the community manager once told me that I should learn from my mistakes, so I did.
If you had a second strike already and you've been calling people idiots after that then I'm sorry to say but then you had it coming.
