Game is supposed to release Q2 2017 but, according to a comment on the video, is still in alpha (not denied or corrected by the Sea of Thieves channel).
This game looks good, what do you think?

Okay this thread has nothing to do with PS4, or comparing Sea of Thieves to PS4 games so what is the point? Sea of Thieves isnt even trying to look like a photo realistic game its going for a bright, colorful cartoon look.
It is not a SoT vs HZD, no. But they're both open world and on rival platforms. So what's wrong with comparing them in a technical point of view? Its not like i'm comparing an indie Xbone game to an AAA from the ps4. This is RARE we're talking about.

Isn't one primarily an online game while the other is SP? It's an apples to oranges comparison
MS used to publish a lot of software that wasn't ashamed of being just for fun; I'm really happy to see them supporting Rare and a title like SoT. After looking at those Blackwake videos, I'm excited to see what they can do with Sea of Thieves.
@kingtito: Online or offline. What's your point? SoT isn't an mmo with 1000 players on screen so your point is irrelevant.

That's like comparing Gravity Rush 2 to Gears of War 4.

What? Gravity Rush isn't a linear tps.

It looks like it will definitely be a lot of fun. I am interested in gamers reaction to the game upon release.

The point is they're not the same type of open world game. Online games tend to be more demanding and are generally scaled back in the graphics fidelity and or resolution. Your comparison is lame and just another attempt to bash the X1 since that's pretty much all you do.

I think your entire argument is weak and you are purposely going off topic with no basis.
They're the only 2017 open world *exclusives* of each platform. Comparison is valid enough. The difference is just so significant that it feels unfair.

Do you even know how many players this so called online game supports? Do you really think it'll get scaled down if its 4 players (or whatever the small amount is) online co-op?

I get it, you're feeling insecure with the upcoming Scorpio release. You're scared and this is your way of releasing that fear. It's pathetic but seems to be the MO of most cows these days. You're a pretty sad individual but tell us something we don't know.

And that matters how? It's still an online game and game going for something vastly different than what Horizon was going for. Your comparison was stupid and your fear is real.

What would be cool if they had team matches where you could take on other crews ships. 2vs2 3vs3 those ship fights look awesome.

i think they are doing something similar to that.
One of the many MS published games that looks fun. I will get it on FLOPIO because it will review well.
:P
:P Double fixed
@quadknight: It won't review well. It's going to flop like every other Xbone game before it.
The Scorpio fear is real with this one. Can't stop posting about MS hoping to feel better about the incoming butthurt. I'd feel sorry for you but you're a pathetic cow.
@kingtito: Yup you pegged me. I'm afraid of a system that will have no exclusives, better versions on PC, and flop game lineup.

The telltale sign, you have to hide behind PC. Pegged you is right cow. You're scared and it's showing in every post of yours.
