So many flaws, yet so freakin awesome. This game has by far the best ending this entire gen.

Unfortunately I couldn't put the text next to the image for what ever reason, oh well this will have to do.
3 Dirty dwarfs, it was a co-op beat em up like streets of rage, was lots of fun back in the day.
Jumping Flash for ps1, this game was weird and was the first 3d platformer i ever played, the goal was to collect all the tokens before the time ran out. You had the ability to leap miles in the air to collect even the hardest tokens.
Loaded, this game was a lot of fun back in its day, great co-op experiance with a hell of a soundtrack.
Call of Cthlhu, one of my favorite xbox games along with thief deadly shadows, its really atmospheric, this game takes you on a rollercoaster horror/adventure ride, shame its kinda glitchy.
i loved this game!
Vampire the masquerade bloodlines
malikmmm
ah man, the biggest tradegy is that game was released in such a poor condition, such a waste of a great game. It derserved a lot better.

This, graphics really awesome, and its quite a witty and clever Adventure game, gave me some old Monkey Island vibe.
Radix: Beyond the Void. A bit like Descent only on a 2.5D engine (Doom's) and a whole lot faster and explodeyer.
Dwarf Fortress. Not much of a looker by today's standards but has some of the deepest gameplay and most complex coding I've seen. Still in development as of today, updated often.
Strife. One of the later Doom engine games, quite ahead of its time with rpg elments, voice acting and non linear "open world" map design combined with solid FPS action.
Midtown Madness 3. Most fun ive had on Xbox Live besides Halo 2!
BodyElite
I second that. Midtown Madness 3 was insanely fun! It was one of those games that I rented because I'd played everything else and I had nothing better to do. What a surprise it turned out to be. I can say without a doubt it's been my favorite XBL (including 360's live) game by a loooooooong shot =)
Never played this game? Then you've seriously missed out on one of the best Action Rpgs ever, this game is such a charming masterpiece. I'd go as far to say it's even better than the gameboy version of Zelda (it's more similar to Zelda than FF) i Must of completed it like 20 times atleast :)
Yakuza series. Everybody and their mother is crying for a Shenmue 3 when this series blows it out of the water. It's the spiritual successor of Shemue and I think as a gamer everybody should give it a chance.
Was that game even released?Thrill Kill. One of my favorite games ever.
RedruM_I
I second Vampire Bloodlines. The best vampire game ever. Everyone NEEDS to play that game right away.
bad_fur_day
I third this. I so wish my computers weren't allergic to it. Only managed to get 20 or so hours into it. But i've heard it kind of goes to crap at some point, so maybe it was for the better.
Hook for the SNES, very fun and challenging game
Another one I have fond memories of
This game was crazy and I had a lot of fun with it. I would love to see a new version.
This game was so broken and easy that it appears they made it in a week but it was so much fun!
Dude, Deathrown was the BEST! I still enjoy that game.[QUOTE="Puckhog04"]
Bought this on the Xbox when it was first released. Was one of my most played games on the Xbox. Honestly, I wish Ubisoft would make a sequel. Xbox Live/PSN play would be awesome with this game. One of the more unique sports games out there. Very brutal combat as well.

Scored an 8.7 on Gamespot as well.
NAPK1NS
:)
It's nice to know someone else played it. I don't think I've met anyone that has ever played it...ever. The game itself is amazing.
System Shock 2
One of the most awesome games to ever be released, its just too bad that getting it to run on XP or Vista is a female-dog. :?
Nice, I finally got around to downloading the demo, and this game is awsome.[QUOTE="Cait__Sith"]

That reminds me, I've been meaning to reinstall Stalker with Complete 2009 again...
Anyways, my contribution is:
Arma 2
psn8214
Glad you're enjoying it! I must say, if you like the demo, the full game will blow your mind...
I've had it for 3 months basically and I regreted paying 50 dollars for Arma 2, but I found a great server where people actually use their mics and give orders. The first game that I enjoyed I played as 1 of 4 bodyguards that were charged with escorting this Scientist (if he died we would lose automatically) while he did his objectives and then the final task was to escort him to the US Border (Fort). So, we took 3 cars in one convoy while the scientist went in the other direction in another car with one of the bodyguards... I was in the convoy of 3 cars our purpose was to create a diversion for the helicopter to think that we were actually carrying the scientist. It worked pretty well we kept rotating who was the first car, second car, and third car. Then our 3 cars split into seperate directions to confuse OPFOR. I unfortunately got to the first task and got blown up by an IED, but the scientist stayed alive and I respawned in. To cut things short we evaded OPFOR and got the scientist to the border to finish the mission and the maps in Arma 2 are MASSIVE (a real mil sim).
A bit flawed in execution, but the concept is just brilliant. This is the real driving simulator. At one point in time they were makng a sequel. I hope they still are and dumped the offroading stuff because that seemed dumb.
(Gyrostarr)
JAB991
My wife really liked Hotel Dusk. Thumbs up on Elebits and Gyrostarr.
I also fully support Valkyria Chronicles. Such a great game and thankfully getting a sequel.

Simply awesome MP game! XCOM games (486 PC FTW!) were simply fantastic. Even hold up vs most games today. Also good!
spinecaton
Such an awesome game. Have so many memories of playing the mltiplayer and the game world(or should I say galaxy:P) is MASSIVE. I has 3000 planets and 500 systems that you can go to.
Star Control II --- one of the greatest games ever made.
KingTuttle
I dunno how well known this game is, but it doesn't nearly get the recognition it deserves. I love it, it's easily in my top five first person shooters of all time and I can play it today without a problem (and whenever I do, it always impresses me how well the core gameplay holds up against shooters today despite it being 2.5D). If you played Doom and Duke Nukem 3D back when they were released and loved them, and for whatever reason missed out on this game, I suggest you get this bad boy right NOW.
[QUOTE="spinecaton"]Also good!
foxhound_fox
Funny, tis my GF's favourite game too
Also, yandere you added WAY too many pictures to this thread.
How is this game? heard its a lot like diablo.[QUOTE="adamosmaki"]
Rougehunter
Its almost exactly like Diablo ( which is a good thing). If you plan to buy it get it with the immortal throne add-on ( makes it from a good to a great game). Just like diablo is very addictive also features some nice graphics that stand up even for today ( even though is a 2006 game). Overall an AA game and offers about 60-100 hours of gameplay depending how you will play it Also it has a good mod community with some interesting mods

Ahhh you had to remind me blood again ( back to play it again for a 100th time) Easilly my top Fps game and also my top game overall best location settings ( carnival is sick) and best and most imaginable weapons in any game imo ( voodoo doll ftw) plus excellent quotes from caleb and you shoot monks and you get a pitchfork and and you make fun of the doom guy ok start playing now
After seeing The Lion King and Aladdin posted (both awesome games), I had to add this:
Loved that game!
Off the top of my head....

Omg omg omg omg thank you!
I have been looking for this game for at least 8 years! (I remembered how it looked like but I just couldn't get the name!)
But, the one I remember was in black and white, and you chose 2 ships and they would fight. Is the first one like that?
Maybe I'm thinking of the same game?
I haven't played this since I was little so it's hard to remember the details.

Both Star Control and Star Control 2 have that but 2 is the best of them all. But both are color....maybe you are thinking of Starflight? Hmm...anyway do NOT get Star Control 3....it's an imposter and was not developed by the original dev team. As a matter of fact you can download Star Control 2 for free. A team of fans got the source code legitimately and rebuilt the game. It's nearly perfect. Here:
