1. you cannot use grafics or shovelware, those have been done to death and are not rly all that great arguments, wii owners don't give a rats ass about grafics, to an extent, pirates 3 on wii was n64 like grafics, that sickened me.

2. your arguments have to be truthful and have some proof to back it up

3. don't directly compare it to another system, find the wiis faults and not were it lacks in comaring to the 360 or whatever.

It has no next gen mulitplats example Assains Creed, Call of Duty 4, The Orange Box, Wet, Prototype, The last Remant, or Haze. Plus more to come like Bionic Commando.

The Wii has the same types of games ever since Nintendo started publishing games Zelda, Metroid, Mario, Fox, Donkey Kong, and Kirby so it is very repititive now.

The Wii does not have a very well planned out on-line feature. Take for example the on-line for SSBB no names can be seen, no voice or text chat. As of yet to hear of rankings.

Wii cannot perform anything media besides look at pictures. Someone cannot watch moives or listen to music from their CDs or Ipods.

So there is how I bash the Wii.

3. i would have to disagree, although it's online is still weak, it's online updates are really good!. Further, Wii has the best download service out of the three, and Wiiware isn't even out yet.

Yeah the games may be different, but the storyline is all the same. A person knows that Bowser will kidnap Peach and Mario will have to save her. Or Link has to save Hryule from disaster and have to save Zelda.

The up-dates I really do not know about except you cannot play any of the demos they offer except see a video for them. I know of the Wii channel, weather channel, and gift channel. Also there is no voice chat and the texting is a bit frustating with the Wii-mote.

You may be right about the Wiiware and updates. Just the TC said to bash the Wii and I did like anyone else can bash the 360 or PS3.

i'd say weak online, and no it's not compared to X360 but in general, FCs are a drag. and honestly? i don't think it's fair saying people can't use graphics as an argument because it's easily the biggest downside that consoe has, otherwise all consoles are perfect if we take out their biggest problem!nintendo-4life

Back to the subject...the Wii needs some more/better RPGs!!!! C'mon! Can't wait for Dragon Quest but that is pretty much all I've heard in the RPG genre. Oh and better integration of the motion controls. It's been done okay but I want to see more creative uses of the motion controls in games.

1. Lack of power. You mentioned graphics but I truly believe power has a big effective on gameplay i.e. physics, AI, scale. There things that imediately pop into my head. But at the end day its a biglimiting factor.

2. Controller not as revelotionary as hyped. Personally I didnt think it was astromical leap over the joypad that was claimed. then again this isbased entirely upon my one and only time I played wii sports so I appreciate that it carries little weight. However it certainly didntgrab me in and have me fixed which wasthe way it was advertised. PeopleI know have said this as well i dunno maybe I ammissing something.

Stop. Here's an arguement against the Wii:

It's reusing the SAME things over and over. The first party Mario, Zelda, MP, and some kid games mixed in. If I want to play a Mario game you can bet I'm turning on my 64. I don't need to use "THE UBER CONTROLLER" to learn some new control scheme that I could care less about.

There's nothing "immersing" about the Wii. Okay, I'm using my hands, big deal. I'm barely thinking about it and watching the screen to find no next gen games, Gamecube graphics, poor realism, no good racing games, and all around simplicity. Why do you think it's selling like crazy? It's the new fad for kids. Remember Pokemon, or yugioh or any of those things? Kid see a new NINTENDO console that you wave your arms around and control Mario and Zelda! It's brilliant! Nintendo picked the right path and it appeals to everyone. But people can't see past the controller, because that's all Nintendo has with it's console.

So, if your telling me to forget about hardware and graphics, let's forget about the Wii's controller. What do you have? A gamecube in a white shell that sucks in discs?

No, I'm sorry. Next generation is Mass Effect, GT5, MGS4, Assassins Creed, COD4, Bioshock, UT3. Not another Mario or Zelda game to add to the pile with "IMMERSIFUL" gameplay. Sorry, I don't buy into Nintendo.
