Welp, you got me there.
Although, my point about number 2 was that almost everyone has a DVD player. For the price of any other system, you could get both a DVD/VCR combo and a Wii to plug into it. But that is my opinion.
I never played Mario Sunshine for one reason: that STUPID TV spot for it. (Look it up sometime.) It was a horrible game and you can't compare it to SMG. And I really don't see that much difference between MGS3 and 4 (besides the time settings). We haven't even played the 4th game yet so we don't know anyway.
My next question is not an argument. It is simply a question from me, a recent PS3 buyer.
What PS3 game do you recommend to me, someone who has played Mario, Zelda, and Party games all his life (up until the age of the PS2 anyway)?

Hahaha, hey, this is just a friendly debate were all friends here.
I too have always been playing Mario games and whatnot with Zleda mixed in. But now, I've changed and I like all different types of games.
I recommend Ratchet and Clank. It's flat out fun with great mecahnics, and exceptional graphics. The story is rgeat, and the voice acting can be funny at times.
I also recommend Assassin's Creed. Superb level design, enticing gameplay, and challenging. The story is semi-realistic, and it's always fun to go to new cities and explore.
Call of Duty 4. War at it's finest. Amazing campaign mode, superb graphics, super multiplayer, and never loses replay value.
Uncharted: Drake's Fortune. Another flat out fun shooter. It's different though, because your just an average Joe on a beautiful tropical island that's fighting pirates. The graphics are unsurpassed.
Oblivion: So you've played Mario 64 and noticed it's simplicity? Try Oblivion. It's mystical, has a deep story, plenty of free roaming, and tons of quests to keep you interested.
Oh, and here's 8 good PS3 games:
1. Heavenly Sword
2. R and C
3. Uncharted
4. Resistance
5. Warhawk
6. Call of Duty 4
7. Assassin's Creed
8. Oblivion
9. Unreal Tournamnet III
Wait, do I have to keep going?
