They don't have a larger PC market, U.S. residents spend way more money on PC games than Europe. 80% of WOW subscribers for exampleDerveCreaves
Where did you get all this nonsense from? The majority of WOW users are from Asia, not the US, with China alone accounting for half of WOW's worldwide user base. In fact, China has the largest PC gaming market in the world, making way more money from the PC platform than the US.
DUDE, the games that made the highest amount of money in gaming are from freaking America and most of those profits were from American buyers, this is common sense. Asia is not a bigger gaming market in NA, and Japan is not a bigger gaming country than the U.S. DerveCreaves
Who said anything about Japan? The article is talking about Asia as a whole, not just Japan. Korea also has a large gaming market of its own, while China's gaming market is huge, third only to the US and Japan in national revenues (but easily ahead of both when it comes to PC gaming).
"lol" Mario Kart 7 sold more than every U.S. based games????? lol. WIIFit/WIISports came bundled with Wiis and all kind of other bundled deals. Also lol I mentioned halo for money making PROFIT, which all highest PROFIT making franchises are form the U.S. Halo 2 at one point was the highest grossing game of all time. Also lol at only being able to mention around 4 games. Crash bandicoot has had no games for 2 years and the 2 years in between that and the last actual platformer was around 4-5 years and it still made more money than most japanese games.DerveCreaves
Halo 2 the highest grossing game of all time? Again, where are you getting all this nonsense from? Halo 2 wasn't even the highest-grossing American game up until then, let alone the highest-grossing game of all time. American classics like Asteroids, Defender, Mortal Kombat and NBA Jam grossed way more revenues than Halo 2, and even these games pale in comparison to the revenues grossed by Japanese classics like Space Invaders, Pac-Man, Super Mario Bros 1 & 3, Street Fighter II, etc.
