selling 360 to get PS3

well ill wait to after E3 but Iv already started selling off my games. Ps3 just keeps gaining more momentum and its getting really killer games. Also my 360 is screwed up and took away all my gears and fable 2 progress. everything in gears is erased and my fable 2 is now corrupted just because im not hooked up to liveanymore so i guess they decided to punish me.so thats kinda pushed me over the edge. PS3 here i come!!!!!!

ya i have thought about that too but im 17 and live in this tiny town where theres no jobs so i can't get a job to make money to have both so its either one or the other

i am a huge gearhead and i put over a hundred hours into it easily and then all my data got deleted. my campaign, all my collectibles are gone and all my online progress gone. it pissed me off so much so screw the 360 and their problems im getting ps3

Unless you are really sure about trading, I wouldn't do it. And I'm saving up for a PS3 on E3 day, I didn't even sell my 360 or Wii to get a PS3 either.

Look man you won't regret it. You got tons of exclusives that are unique like MGS4,LBP,and such. Now you got games like Killzone 2, Infamous. Than you got games like Uncharted 2, MAG, GOW 3, WKC, Demon Souls, War Devil, GT5, and many more coming out. Nto to mention some good *** games like the team ico project and Final fantasy versus 13. Plus you get the extensive libary of multiplatforms too. You are not making a mistake man and you get free online!!! Thats just awesome.

if its losing saved data its broken dont sell your friend a broken a 360 just tell him to get new jasper 360or PS3

Trust me, the transistion from 360 to ps3 is a smooth and refreshing process. I'm glad I did back in summer 2007, having a pc and ps3 combo is sweet.

PS3 is great, but I would recommend to keep your 360 as well 'cause there's a lot of great games coming for it too.. But I agree that ps3 is gettin' momentum and in fact there's been a while since I've played my 360 'cause im hooked on the ps3!

Selling consoles are extremely dumb IMO. Wait until it gets a red ring and then send it in for repairs. If there are NO games you want on Xbox 360 and you just want to get rid of it, you can sell. Tell me more about New Rare game? That title sounds interesting. Also, have they even confirmed Crackdown 2...? I don't think we'll see Fable III for a very long time either.

Anyways, only game I'd personally want is Mass Effect 2. Alan Wake I'll wait on. If Rare is making a new game, I don't know how to feel about that. PDZ was disspointing for me. I'd rather play Banjo Kazooie on the N64 than Nuts and Bolts. That was not a true Banjo Kazooie game.
