selling 360 to get PS3

ya i have thought about that too but im 17 and live in this tiny town where theres no jobs so i can't get a job to make money to have both so its either one or the other

my 360 broke on me and since the warranty was expired I had to pay to get it fixed. I decided to trade in all my games and get a ps3 instead a more reliable system with tons of good exclusives.

if you cant keep both i suggest you ditch 360 and buy ps3.. ps3 dropping quality exclusives big time.. but i suggest you keep both.

well ill wait to after E3 but Iv already started selling off my games. Ps3 just keeps gaining more momentum and its getting really killer games. Also my 360 is screwed up and took away all my gears and fable 2 progress. everything in gears is erased and my fable 2 is now corrupted just because im not hooked up to liveanymore so i guess they decided to punish me.so thats kinda pushed me over the edge. PS3 here i come!!!!!!

If you really feel that you want a PS3, I say go for it. Most of the awesome games that are out now are multiplat, but Sony has a good list of exclusive games (sorry, but I count PC as a gaming system).

Now, I in no way feel as though you should just give up your 360, since it does have a few awesome games that are definatly worth owning, but in my opinion I seem to prefer the PS3 > 360.

With the already great list of exclusives the system has (Uncharted, MGS4, Resistance 1 + 2, Killzone 2, LittleBigPlanet, Valkyria Chronicles, inFamous right around the corner), there are plenty of popular games that are still coming out this year (Uncharted 2, Heavy Rain and God of War 3 only being a few I can think of off the top of my head). Also, if you have an HDTV, you can start watching Blu-Ray movies, and the system has a high reliability rate (not saying it's perfect, I've had a PS3 fail on me before0.

Bottom line I guess is that if you really feel as though you are done with your 360, then a PS3 would be an awesome system to pick up. However, E3 is coming up and who knows what Microsoft has planned.

You should never sell a video game system for another, you will end up regreting it in the future believe me.

I would definitely concur with most of the people on this board and say keep the 360 and also buy a ps3. Myself I own a 360 and wii (piece of junk) and am looking to buy a ps3 mainly so I can play the exclusives and also for the good blu-ray player it uses. However I am waiting on a potential price drop on the ps3 before I buy as here in Australia the ps3 is more ridiculously overpriced than it is in the States costing around the equivalent of USD$500-550.

If I were you I'd hold off buying a ps3 until at least around August/september/october time when hopefully it will be cheaper, the added benefit being that in that time you can continue saving and wouldn't have to sell your 360 to get the ps3 when the time comes. Enjoying the best of both worlds surely is the better option

Sry to hear about ur 360 breaking. PS3 is great here are some suggestions, MGS4, KZ2 and Uncharted 1&2.

Buy the PS3, you definitely won't regret it, I owned the X360 for a while but got bored of it and bought a PS3, I've loved my PS3 ever since. There's many awesome games coming out in the future like Ratchet and Clank a Crack in Time, Uncharted 2, MAG, white Knight Chronicles, Heavy Rain, Infamous, FF XIII Versus, God of War III, GT5, etc.
