Selling PS3, for 360 worth it?!

hell no....absolutely not ...the 360 is going downhill that is the trend for them...they are desperate right now and it shows in their business moves trying to buy up exclusives instead of making original content and their price drops.

sony's system has more of an upside and more potential. unless you really want to play gears of war and halo fugget about it!

well yeh sell your ds,psp,gc,xbox on ebay or gamestop if you want the money now you will at least get 100 dollars at gamestop...and put that towards your 360 purchase for christmas...by then all the blockbuster games will be out and you will be a happy gamer with both a ps3 and 360

I'm planning on selling my PS3, GC, original XBOX, fat psp (already have slim),and fat ds (already have lite). All this just so I can have some extra money for a 360.. anyway, I hardly play my PS3.. and the trophy system really is lacking right now. I love about more then half of the 360 titles.. and I also find them cheaper then what i'm spending for lame PS3 titles.

How much will I get for that batch of systems?

Is this a good idea, to be doing.. I know that Little Big planet, resistance 2, and killzone 2 are coming out.. but I just need more entertainment. 360 way to go?

I was torn between the 2 systems for a quick minute lol. I loved the design of the PS3 over the xbox and i liked the idea of playing blu ray movies. Only to realise im not a big film buff and i'd rather play quality games with superior graphics.

I would recommend the new pro with 60gb. The interface is great, easy to use and responsive.

Plus if you want a system to play QUALITY games then get the xbox. Plus its always fun to download the FREE demo's on xbox live.

I would never sell my black box. Yes the ps3 may lack some games as of now, but look at the incredible games coming this and next year.

Why dont you just get a 360?

The prices are down, you could ask for money at christmas and get an arcade model or something, you wont need a hard drive as you have a ps3.

Having all systems is the best option and the ps3 has a good lineup this year you wont want to miss.

Just save up and get one at the end of the year or something. Sell your old psp or something.

Just buy one eventually, but seriously the PS3 is sucking. I seriously regret selling my 360. I want to play Tales of Vesperia.

The exclusives are better on the 360, every damn PS3 game is hype on top of hype save for MGS4. I've seriously considered swapping out my PS3, but eh, like most said you might regret it so thats why I'm holding onto it and you may as well too. Oh well, atleast the PS3 controller is far superior for Soul Calibur 4.

PS3 = 360 + Blu-ray

You're not going to gain anything as far as gaming goes. The library is practically identical. Most exclusives are equally matched by the other. Resistance, Killzone, Halo, Gears... all of these are quality shooters. You're not gonna gain a new gameplay experience by swapping out one for the other. Forza = GT, they even match up oddball genres like quirky platformer based around user created content. After Banjo Kazooie (matched with LBP), every game I want for my 360 (Fallout 3, Mirror's Edge, FF13, Prince of Persia, Resident Evil 5) is also going to be on the PS3.
