Seriously, lets talk about enslaved

Wheres the hype. Now that Halo Reach came out, where is all the hype. I thought many more people would be talking about it. The demo was amazing!

The combat was top notch, the presentation was spectacular.

If you need something to get you pumped read this, or even skim it.

I won't be. I didn't like the demo.

The game is very automated in the platforming sections, even when I was trying to kill myself I was having a tough time, the character model of the girl looks pretty good, she looks like someone I know, the guy looks stupid but I don't know the story on it. Combat seems to play it rather safe from what I've seen, but the guard breaking it already has, good A.I (didn't seem very good to me) and some other weapon choices would make it pretty good. As for the visuals? They are pretty good, I'll probably bargin bin this one though!

Since when? The game isn't out yet, it's just demos...Wait, are you refering to the demo comparison where it was about a tie? There is a dishonest thread in SW claiming what you said, but that's not proof, it was just a misguided TC stating whatever he wanted, and posting a link...hoping no one would actually click on the link. It seems you also posted a fact that isn't a fact, like that TC in that other thread. Lens said this on the matter :

"Based on this demo, Enslaved is shaping up to be a killer app, and the graphics in this build looked almost identical across platforms. Check back soon for our full report after we run this demo through our analyzer. Note: We will be performing a complete Head2Head when the final build hits store shelves later next month."

I don't care what ultimately has one more pixel, but I am not a fan of dishonesty.

These pixel wars though, man, they are something else.

The demo kinda turned me off. It looked great, but it got boring really fast.

Lets not and say we didn't. No reason for me to be excited for the game, didn't like Ninja Theory for action games before, don't see why that'd change now.

Disliked the demo. Gameplay was too simplistic, controls were overly sensitive (and unresponsive), and the camera was a pain in the ass. The story seems like it could be really good though and the relationship between the two main characters looks like it will be interesting. I might get it when it hits the bargain bin.

I am probably in the minority saying this but I rather enjoyed the Enslaved demo and look forward to reading reviews for it. The combat was ok and the controls don't feel tight but the thing that interests me most is the story. I enjoyed the cutscenes and find the presentation and voice acting top notch. I'm going to give this one a try. :D

Just looked at the Demo on Youtube, Oh wow, It reminds me a bit of Uncharted.

Downloaded the demo. Haven't played it. Will grab it when it hits the bargain bin if I like it. WIll probably turn out to be a mediocre game, though. It IS Ninja Theory after all. :P

I liked it.

But...There was like an Animation that was missing in one scene.

not only that but movements in the game feel...odd but I got used to it.

I liked the demo but nothing special I will buy it but when its cheap its too low on my list.

I never thought the game looked amazing, or even interesting. But, the demo is the reason for the lack of hype I'd think. It was bad. I know some of you guys like it, but I don't see how. I thought the combat was a joke and the camera was programmed by a drunk sadist. The platforming was automatic, and impossible to fail. Also, kinda funky looking.

It's good.Way better than Heavenly Sword.

PS3 fans AKA cows have completely dismissed it because the superior version is on 360. so now we get Enslaved looks average or Uncharted 2 looks better posts, despite the fact that enslaved looks phenomenal and had it been a PS3 exclusive wed hear all about graphics king from the cows.

i hate the art style they are going for, the gameplay wasent impressive aswell. it looks just way to uninspiring for me

I liked the demo enough to buy it, though it looks like it'll drop in price fast.

I can wait or rent it.

But maybe my impulses will get the best of me

I liked the demo but I will wait for the review and if it turns out decent I will pick it up when I have the money.

Day one for me. I'll be picking it up with Lords of Shadow. The game is different from anything else coming out and I appreciate that. Not to mention that it is just a top shelf production that seems like it will offer an exciting journey with two very likable characters.

It seems to have all the parts that I don't like about uncharted and none of what I liked...if it was stripped into only something I like it would look something like this

And UC2 does look better. Don't need to be a Fanboy to see that. :|

It just really isn't all that interesting to some people. Like me. I voted bargain bin because I find it hard to resist a good deal when I'm in between games. Could easily be a pass though. Was an OK demo, but nothing grabbed me.
