Shadow of Mordor buying off reviews?

False...a shit ton of ppl are playing and enjoying it. Just b/c it didn't live up to the astronomical hype doesn't make it a bad game.

The only ppl that think the game doesn't have content are 12 year old with no income. The single player alone is about 7 hours or so....then theres multiplayer....thats an average COD game. Then you have online co-op.

The game is a good value and the gameplay is top notch.

LOL Destiny couldn't return that steaming pile of turd fast enough.

On the other hand finding mordor pretty good really feels and plays like a batman game.

Game blows just accept it. The only decent thing to be found was that the gameplay itself was solid. Unfortunately the game ends up being horribly repetitive all while being short, the story blew, and the competitive multi-player was some of the worst I have ever played.

I'm telling you he purposely waits for the public opinion and tbh I can't see how most of his fans don't realize. He basically tells you what you want to hear or already know.

may be true for very obvious points like Destiny having no story but in many reviews i've heard him mention stuff reviewers don't bother mentioning at all.

@Celtic_34: Brand deals basically give out free copies of the game if you agree to say this or that about it. Makes sense considering new ip. Marketing is really sketchy though. Destiny knew they had hype and marketing muscle and were getting first day sales so review embargo.

I've said it before........ why is it when it comes to THESE reviews (including GTA5) the journalism is is corrupt; but when it comes down to GOTY like with TLOU, its all legit?

This is stupid. The game is good. They don't need this.

I'm honestly not enjoying it that much....so I'm not sure where all the great reviews are coming from.

It's fundamentally flawed in parts.

One example is how I sneak up behind an orc....choose to interrogate him...which makes me lose control of my character and go into another screen...and when I get out of that screen....theres 2 more orcs standing 2 feet away from where I'm interrogating the first orc.

It's fucking stupid...I have no control over the game when I'm doing that....and the game does this animation throughout the interrogation so it's time that I can't control.

Another example is how if you attract an orc from a bush you're hiding in...and stealth kill him....you don't drag him into the bush....you just let him plop down out in the open....which just so happens to be what is pissing me off. B/c whenever it seems I attract an orc...from around a corver in the bush....by the time I'm done with the stealth kill animation....there just so happens to be 1 or 2 more orcs coming around the corner....and then I'm found out.

You just have to be a little more careful. Like you can stealth kill surrounding orcs first, or if that is not possible create a distraction, or go into combat and kill anyone who wants to raise the alarm and interrogate the last one standing. It can be annoying at first. I remember that some times I would ledge kill an orc only to have him drop in between live orcs who would then see me. But all those things are avoidable, and later on in the game you will have many ways to deal with it. The game fixes most of its issues throughout the game.
Don't do what I did: I did a lot of side content before progressing the main story. You get most cool stuff from doing the main story missions... So be sure to focus on them more than other things at least until you get to the brandishing, and the game becomes a lot more fun and fluid.

Dunno how a game is short when theres about 7 hours of story mission....a multiplayer of PVP...and a multiplayer co-op....and more updates coming all the time. You do realize there are ppl that have put 60+ hours into the game already, right? Maybe you just don't know what you're talking about.

You're controlling the wraith at the point when interrogating orcs...it's another dimension. It doesn't need to make sense...you're just butthurt because the game is scoring higher than your darling Destiny. So transparent.

The game is freaking good so far. Use the freaking sneak button. 2014 has been a bit fuzzy, but I'm pretty sure its the best "next gen"game to come out so far this year. I've been on an Uruk murdering rampage,except for this one freaking dude who can only die from assassinating. Blown it like 3 times and he keeps getting stronger. Stuff you do mattering in the actual game? Holy crap what a concept. Kind of feels alot like Two Worlds Two to me.
