Shadow of the Colossus is amazing. (56k)

Even though it is old now, and the graphics (technically) can't compare to games like Crysis or gears of War, it is artistically one of the best games out. No other game creates such a sense of scale and isolation.It is one of those special games that stay with you for a long time after you play it, ad something everyone should experience, as well as ICO.

Yeah SotC was amazing, very cinematic, some of the gigantic colossi were a sight to behold...

Yeah I played this game to death. There is nothing like riding the horse(Agro?sp)and admiring the landscape while riding to hunt the next colossus.

The music score is superb as well.

TC, you proably should have just goen without screen shots, seeing as every graphics wh0r3 is going to come in here and bash those, and it's already happening.

This is one of those games I had wished I could have played, but was too much of a fanboy at the time to appreciate it.

I think it's absolutely incredible how they managed to make each colossi unique, although I despised the last one.

it's one of the 3 games i still own on my ps2(sold all the rest)

The game is truly beautiful and unique :) Anything Team Ico creates is bound to be innovative, creative and unique, they have made that abundantly clear.

SoTC was an impulse buy fome and one that I thoroughly enjoyed, the bosses were fantastic and the landscape was vast and beatiful. The game was really emotional because you felt guilty when you actually kill the colossi, I love this game :cry:

I'm gonna start to play it again :)

Especially since it was actually running on the PS2, which back then was critisized a lot because it didn't have "graphix".

It's amazing that the level of artistic accomplishment in SOTC far outweighs the work done by those such as Miyamoto or Bioware in their entire careers. Art is expression, and SOTC, with gameplay flaws, achieves art. Most games don't.Oligarchy_USA
