Just like the PS3 having a 10 year life cycle.

The PS2 is already on year 8 and shows no sign of slowing down yet. I have no doubt the PS2 will have a 9 or 10 year lifespan. The PS1 saw roughly 7 years support. So clearly the trend is heading in a favourable direction for the PS3.

The PS1 launched in 1995, the PS2 was launched in 2000...but the PS1 stuck around for at least 7 or 8 years.

Hey, I've had my 360 over a year now and haven't had 1 issue. Can't say I'm all that paranoid about the RROD anymore...if it happens it happens.

360 is better than the Wii, but it's still weak. All those hardware failures, some games might have pretty graphics, but to improve on such a weak console? Is going to be hard.potterpipi
