Well it's currently better than Home now since home isn't out yet. But if it was...that thing is brilliant.
Nintendo has said they will update their channels and their console, so I'm sure Nintendo has other plans for their Miis but as it stands now. Home>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Miis

I haven't stood by anything to say that what I see could be a neat feature, yet at the same time it recieves WAAAAY too much praise for something that can become a tedium based off what I know, though I reserve judgement till I actually use it of course. In all honesty, I see ntohing to be so hyped about. An online network that should been been there already, a caracature feature that's nothing original (but never said it was bad) and of course... something that could have a great sense of community but who knows how the final product will be? In all regards, Home and LBP are nothing superb or to be excited about. It's nothing we have used yet, so who's to say it will be awesome? Espcially on day one? Remeber the constant updates needed on the PS3 since launch? How about Sony's excellence in delivering on full promises on day one? I'm one to be skeptical that's all.

HERE is just another example of Sony NOT getting the point: games. With Wii keeping the Mii system and it's online interface simplistic, it helps to focus on what really matters: the games. Playstation home seems just like a game within itself, one I think people will soon find rather boring when all they really want to do is hope online and play a dam game.
Home looks cool, looks like...pointless, but cool. The Trophies? Now that's cool, having your own placeand everything it's all cool, but I'd rather play games, although im sure sometimes I'll get lost in Home if I had it. Just downgrade the price, cause this isn't something Im looking foward to spending 600 bucks for. The only thing that will justify a 600 dollar purchase is...well...nothing.

He's right though. PS Home does look cool, and I like the small features they've added into it (being able to throw that TV down the stairs is an example) but it really reminds me of Sims + Animal Crossing.
As for what you can do with Miis... they're just supposed to be avatars, but you can also trip them in the Mii Channel. I've seen my Iwata Mii yell at another Mii, but I didn't do that. >_>

miis were not really supposed to be much but wacky forms of yourself. they weren't aiming for a lot of realism, if you take some time to think, you'd know that. this home thing i am not interested in reading about but from what i hear from system wars, its more like you going around and finding features on a world (am i close?) miis were just simple ways of having wacky fun.

Now why would I want to use the HOME to communicate with other people? That's why there are forums, Instant messengers, etc. I buy a gaming system for the games and to play against other users online.

i didnt know you had to maintain a family, happiness, hunger, jobs etc in PS Home....I wasnt aware you had to drive to work, call for a maid or repairman when your toilet flooded or maintain your yard in PS Home....I wasnt aware that you had to take baths, sleep, get the mail from the mailbox, look for jobs and call AI controlled friends to come over for a beverage.........better yet, i was unaware you will be impregnating people on PSHome.

And in Sims you do that and all the other stuff you listed, so really PSH is just a watered down Sims
