HERE is just another example of Sony NOT getting the point: games. With Wii keeping the Mii system and it's online interface simplistic, it helps to focus on what really matters: the games. Playstation home seems just like a game within itself, one I think people will soon find rather boring when all they really want to do is hope online and play a dam game.justdog11

I dislike the fact that to get all the really cool clothes/furniture/whatnot (because you know they won't give you the awesome stuff for free), you'll need to pay, too.

Yeah I agree having to pay for a lot of personalization stuff sucks, but you don't have to personalize everything.  Even w/o doing that, it'll still be one hell of a good interface for the online community.  It'll still be fun w/o perosnalizing everything.

If it use a little of a lot of things and adds a lot of original things, I'd say it's original.  And besides, what feature isn't entirely original?  Everyone uses each other's ideas for their own products.  As long as you enhance that idea or integrate original elements it's not "ripping them off".  Besides if it was ripping someone off, it's XBL and Second Life, not your Mii's.
