Sheep --- Are you fully prepared for Brawl NOT to have online play?

Wow. Look at all these useless posts. They announced it to be online playable a long time ago guys. This game has been ready to ship for alike 2 or 3months now.Warlock89

As said by the IGN Wii-k in review podcast by matt. "I contacted nintendo and asked them about it. They said no official boxart has been released. I wouldn't worry I will bet anyone right now its gonna be online."

Think about it guys. The worst thing Nintendo needs is to have no online (which would create a ton of bad press) to be announced a month or two before brawl. However what they do need it to announce a great feature shortly before the release of one of thier biggest games (aka online!) to create lots of good press and hype.

If it was confirmed no online then we would know it already.

Shigeru myamoto already said it doesnt have online dont know why people still think it has online he said it at E3. its not going to have online anytime soon. plus Friends codes will kill online right through the gut.Hitamaru-homia

Brawl will be laggy if it has online. Nintendo's inferior online will not be able to cut it. Go ahead on Nintendo.com and go on the forums. There's over 7 " My Wii is not connecting to the internet" threads.Even the WiFi USB adapter is terrible.

Nintendo doesn't know its architecture. So I'm predicting a 2nd round knock out by a right high kick- Ps3 online takes it and moves onto the finals against Light heavyweight champ X "The Box" 360.Gigas_Yuu

Unless I'm very mistaken, it was announced at a previous E3 ('06 I believe). The creator of the game stated the only reason they are doing another Smash Brothers is because of online play. No news isn't bad news, my friend. Just because they didn't mention it this year, doesn't mean it's not going to happen. Plus, during the montage of games that will feature online play, Super Smash Brothers was present.

It's not fishy, it's smart. Nintendo will reveal whether the game has online or not when it thinks the time is right. Think about how high pre-orders will sky rocket if they announce online play during the big hype phase a month or so before the game is a released.

Come on now. I will be very shocked if Brawl has online play? Why? Nintendo has been known to keep secrets...but usually not about game development. Consoles? Sure. But not games. We knew Twilight Princess was coming since 2004. Reggie Fils-Aime said that Mario Kart 08 will have online. Ok, if he is going to tell us that, then why the HELL would he not mention Brawl having online? That's right...because it doesn't. AvIdGaMeR444

Yep. I'm nutty like that. Also, I made a thread a few days ago that said I wouldn't make any negative statement toward Wii, its devs, sheep for 3 months if Mass Effect gets lower than 9.0. I'm holding to that. My posts may be annoying as hell, but I try to always admit my ownage.
