Nameless-Hero
GT pro series is a port of an early GC game...
and Perfect Dark Zero was originally for the XBOX along with Kameo and both titles look great. how come GT must look so bad i thought wii was more powerful than Xbox?
GT was very early (japanese launch i believe) and i think it used an updated N64 engine. It was ported by Ubisoft for the wii launch.
you could atleast have done ninja gaiden black instead of that. but anyways,
Silenthps
dude your missing the point. dont post gamecube pictures.
It's funny how anti-Wii fanboys run out of things to bash the Wii about (since it's obliterating their system in every way), and so they go back to the ancient Wii graphics bashing. These screens look good.Erkidu
Looks horrible.
Why not bash it, its graphics are laughable compared to its competition.
Where are some big pics of wii to see how ugly they really are,oh thats right its not HD.....LOLZ

yeah, i agree. the wii graphics are the bare minimum now. but its no secret that its graphics card is inferior. to say a game on the wii looks better than a 360 or ps3 game would just be ridiculous. to say they look "good" is ok, but better than the same game on a ps3 or 360? NO. The quality is not even much better than the gamecube. As many have said, the Wii is a good secondary console. but there are not enough good games to play it as a primary console.

That was not a CGI scene. They are real time in engine.
and SSBB is gameplay, if anytying the game looks better then those shots.

The first SSBB definetly isn't. The game looks nothing like that.[QUOTE="SuperMario_46"][QUOTE="Nameless-Hero"]self ownage there are no next gen games there except for the last one. hahahafirst one is Forza second one is GT4 a PS2 game

That is because it is a DIRECT port of a very crappy game that was released on the gamecube early in its lifespan (2001-2002 I guess) which budget was probably less then 5% of the budget of either GT4 or Forza.

The first SSBB definetly isn't. The game looks nothing like that. Are you sure, they are just both in the air, with it zoomed in, in picture mode. (When you pause). I've not played much of it yet, because I have 3 exams this week. So perhaps not, but it could have been an early build, that picture doesn't look unrealistic for SSBB.
GRFX R EVURYTHANG!11
And Brawl looks fantastic. Post all the screens you want and call them a jaggy mess - they don't look like that on screen. Wii has shown some impressive looking games, get over it trolls.
Super Mario Galaxy is better looking than any last gen game. Metroid Prime 3 and SSBB are better looking than most, if not all last gen games as well.

The first SSBB definetly isn't. The game looks nothing like that.I own the game and have put in nearly 20+ hours into SSBB already, and I think I know what I'm talking about when I tell you that all of those shots are 100% legitimate gameplay screenshots. The first shot is Link in the Fire Emblem stage, try playing in it with Link and pause the screen and you will see for yourself.
That image would look so much better if it were 640 by 480 instead of 640 by 488One of the most artistically impressive games on Wii. I'm prepared for the bashing that fanboys will give me. OMG TEH KIDDY.

Alright TC. Enough is enough. You wanna talk graphics? At least the Wii does something new. Why put down the wii, when your own graphics are not as good as this.

As a PC gamer i'd love to say you are right, but i bet it doesn't look that good on your rig either. In fact I rekon only the 3% of gamers with high end Sli setups are looking at stable framerates on ultra settings.
Well, I run it on high, and it looks darn well enough for me. Close to those screenshots. It is beautiful. My jaw dropped the first time I went in game.
Only reason I posted the Crysis shots is so the TC gets a taste of his own medicine.
Stop saying crap about Wii graphics. I can do the same thing to you.

No game on the Wii looks better than Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory for the original Xbox.
Though the Wii's Splinter Cell comes close ...

No one can beat that(yet), but I see the wii`s graphics more as artistic than technical though.Alright TC. Enough is enough. You wanna talk graphics? At least the Wii does something new. Why put down the wii, when your own graphics are not as good as this.

I'd be more impressed with Splinter Cell if people showed screenshots with something more than flat walls and empty rooms.

Really? You're just proving my point. Look at how sparse those environments are, not to mention that there are ever only a few characters around.
I'm not saying that it doesn't look impressive, it's definitely up there with Wii's best. But 90% of the environments consist of boxes or flat walls, with 2-3 characters on screen at a time. It's great at rendering what it does, but it lacks the detail and complexity of games like Metroid Prime 3.[QUOTE="BlackIsle_rip"][QUOTE="Erebyssial"]Aw TC, you said you'd accept ownage. All lies.

sorry but you guys failed to surpass my images and i wasn't even trying only sheep use the same old pic of SMG in every graphics thread.

Xbox my friend, the original Xbox. The game was released back in early 2005. The fact that you're comparing Chaos Theory with Wii titles tells quite a story. Tell you what, compare Metroid to... how about Double Agent? ;)

Why wouldn't I compare the Wii with the original Xbox, they're almost the same in terms of raw power. Comparing Wii graphics to 360 graphics is a stupid argument and you know it.
