This will be a bargain bin style game. But I bet, even though it won't be very good, it'll be fun for $15-$20. :P

Probably, you've got to appreciate them budget FPS's when you have nothing to play and your in the middle of a gaming drought.

killzone 1 actually went a long way to establishing themselves as a mediocre dev house, but this game looks even worse - and it's likely because it's not actually being made by guerilla this time around.

well that's yet to be seen. i've been reading a lot of negative things about KZ2 and for a game that broke the 40 million budget mark close to a year before it's finished with a staff over 150, it's looking like that money might have been better spent elsewhere.

with a budget like that and the hype this game has been getting it has to rock a 9-10 or it'll be considered a 50 million dollar failure by most people.

This is developed by Rebellion, they made AvP, Rogue Trooper, Sniper Elite...

They make "OK-ish" games, I'm sure this will get a 7 or something.

I thought guerilla did a hatchet job with the 1st but it looks like this new dev will be doing an even better job of destroying vietnam are games.

"What? Why?" was my immediate reaction upon first reading about it. It just makes no sense. At all. Barely anyone knows about the first game, and this seems to have nothing to do with it, it's radically different. So why use the Shellshock "brand"? No sense. And it's just...how did they pitch this idea? "It's like your average FPS, but you're in Vietnam, AN THAR R LIEK ZOMBEEEHS!!"

My immediate reaction to this trailer is "Free Bird!" And then "Blech..." Doesn't appeal to me at all. All sorts of grungy-looking. Not to mention I'm not a big horror fan to begin with.

Holy crap, that's insane! I rented the first Shellshocked back in '04 and I really liked it. That's whacky that they're actually doing a sequel...based on zombies.

Can't stand Killzone, but this could be interesting.

THIS IS NOT A SEQUAL. ITs being developed by someone else and beside. Eidos is publishing it. They can't publish any Guerilla games as Sony owns them.
