Ummm seriously how similar to an xbox 360 game do you think the DS version can be?:?cakeorrdeath
It's the same story.

It's the same story.
Right, but it is a game not a book. There is more to games than story.
Well it is just a spin off, and probably just MShoping that they will get more people to get the360.
Also how is this gamee a major exclusive when it sucks.jg4xchamp
It may of "flopped" but it doesn't suck I am having a great time with it.

yes, im inclined to agree. RPG's aren't really played for the gameplay since most of them have turn-based anyway.
1- do u have an english link or can anyone besides the TC confirm it says the same exact story and not a spinoff.
2- ok some of u actually liked the game, me personally the game sucked and he said "ill never give up" way to much. the characters and dialogue was beyond terrible. I would rather listen to Fran Dresher(sp?)

Amongst other things. People wouldn't play it if it was just text.
This is like saying the Ps3 exclusivity of Final Fantasy since theres a spin off of FF on the DS/PSP.Which is to say not much at all.
Edit:Oops, too late.

Final Fantasy games are separate.
As a series, Final Fantasy was never exclusive to the Playstation brand.

Nope.
Final Fantasy IX, X, X-2, XII, XIII, and vsIII are Sony exclusives.
Final Fantasy itself is not.
EG. Final Fantasy I-VII, Crystal Chronicles, Mystic Quest, etc...
Its nota lost exclusive microsoft is known for releasing games for the ds hence age of the empires and viva panata they just have different companies publishing the game and the games are developed by microsoft second party developers learn your facts before trying to claim something.

I know FF games are seperate and I know FF was never exclusive to the Sony brand(Specially since theres even a Wii one).In the same way, Bklue Dragon DS is completely different from its console counterpart and since when was Blue Dragon an exclusive brand to MS, specially since theres been only 1 game and even thats from a 3rd party.Im sorry but you could claim ownage if the game was being ported to the ps3/Wii.But when you're counting a DS game equal to its console equivalent, you're drawing at straws.

Square has 6 Final Fantasy games in production, one of them will come to handhelds.By your logic, that day FF13 wont be exclusive to the PS3.Look at Kingdom Hearts, theres a spin off of KH on the GBA and its retelling of the 1st game. But KH is still considered a Ps2 exclusive, isnt it?
Oh my! Not a DS port. Whatever will I do? /sarcasm
I never intended to play Blue Dragon to begin with, and I care even less about a handheld version.

I'm waiting for the DS version of Gears of Warso I can finally get rid of my crappy 360. While you are under cover you can pictochat with the locust and just ask them to give up! Woot! 1) If the FF DS game is a remake of thePS3 FF13, then FF13 will no longer be exclusive. Just like how the DS Blue Dragon is a remake of the Xbox 360 Blue Dragon.
2) The GBA Kingdom Hearts is a spinoff, and therefore is not the same story as Kingdom Hearts 1. Therefore, Kingdom Hearts 1 is still exclusive to Playstation. This is different from the DS version of Blue Dragon because the DS version of Blue Dragon and the XBox 360 version have the same story. It's not a spinoff or a sequel.

i thought it was a good shot at the 360.. of course then that would mean there is no reason to pick up NG:S since its pretty much the same game as Ninja gaiden black.

Wow you're such a fangirl. You say that the scope and difference in graphics aren't enough? You're saying a hand held version means there's no reason to play the next gen version? If anything, the 360 version makes the handheld useless. Anyone reasonably sane have anything to add?
Old.....
Also, if it isn't the same game it isn't a lost exclusive. Judging by the screens, it's a totally different game.

It's the same story.
it can be the same just the graphics and controlls are different .
Yea, thats why the gameplay will be completely different. But according to the TC, as long as the story is the same, the game is the same.No use arguing with that kind of infallible logic.BTW did any of you actually go to the link?
IT'S A FRIGGIN CARD GAME!!!!
