Saw this comment coming. It's guaranteed when a new game is shown, someone will run in and call it generic. Even if there's not even a minute of footage shown.
*jaw drops*....wow....I cannot wait for this game! Easily my most anticipated game right now, and that is saying something with Diablo III, Skyward Sword, and Uncharted 3 (as well as dozens more) on the way. The animations, graphcis, scale, and obviously everything else (its frikkin BF!) will blow me away.
HOLY HELL!!! That was so much better than I thought it would be. I have goosebumps. The new engine looks insane. The lighting is incredible and animations are flawless
From what I read from the GI article the SP looks to be a "Meh-fest" (Like bfbc2) So i'll be getting this game for the MP.Sp4rtan_3
I thought BC2's SP was fun enough (better than KZ2's SP :P) and I bet this one will be better. That said, who the hell cares!? Of course you will buy BF for its MP :P

I'm a SP kinda guy when it comes to games, MP always takes a back seat. But with BF3 it seems Im going to play a "been there done that" kind of SP where I'm a marine killing Arabs with Modern weapons. The engine looks freaking awesome tho much more of an improvement over BFBC2. Can't wait for the holidays.
Wait until the destruction is shown. The animations and destruction alone will destroy crysis 2. Not to mention the insane MP. This game is one of my most anticipated ever. and thats saying a lot
the game looks like its coming for the next-gen systems, I don't know but maybe its just me feeling this :P

lol Pretty sure its not :P. Although it is amazing loooking in every sense of the word. Now everyone needs to keep in mind this is almost certainly PC gameplay, as that is the lead platform, the maps are huge (seems so anyway) and it just looks to darn good :P.

haha i use to rush home after highschool. log on bf2 and play till the night time with classmates in squads, then we would play all night in the summer. it was soo much fun . yes uncharted 3 cant wait ether
it was fixed in BF2. it also never was a problem in BF2142. you think they are actually gonna repeat that mistake? unlikely.
They even said that there will not be dolphin diving one way or another. I never *noticed* it in 2142 either.
i think.. if memory serves, they wrecked your accuracy for a second or so while going prone, so diving to the ground became suicide and most people would crouch instead. i have fond memories of absolutely annihilating people that tried to dive because they effectively couldn't shoot back :D
Not impressed by that small tidbit...untill I get confirmed fact the game plays more like Modern Combat and not Bad company Its not on my list of games I want to buy or play.
