Should console exclusives be released for the PC too?

There are some I would like to see on PC just for comparison sake. But overall I don't feel like Im missing much

The people who have no intention to buy the outdated consoles won't buy them no matter what exclusives they have.

But if those games came on the superior platform, they might.

They would look vastly better on it, get the option for mods, the devs wouldn't be as limitied by the hardware anymore, ect.

The PC is not direct competition for the consoles so they could still claim "console exclusivity".

I think if consoles didn't have their exclusives then most people would switch to console gaming and just get a console controller. The industry would lose a lot of money due to piracy, though, which is a good thing about consoles: harder to do stuff like that.

I don't see why 3rd party games go exclusive to a system. From a financial point of view it makes no sense. I would be porting my game to every single platform I could.

The only games that should be exclusive are first party games.

If it's financially viable, sure, why not.

We don't know how much money Sony and MS are enticing them with though to stay exclusive. Im sure it must be a lot though because I would do the same as what you said. Why limit yourself when there is money to be made on other platforms too

First party titles should be exclusive to the console.

That is the whole purpose of 1st party titles which is to get people interested in purchasing that console.

No but this is a thing consolites do. They band together against the PC and just say "Console games" and don't specify which platform. Then they have wars against each others platforms again.
