Should i build a Volta PC? Is 60hz and a few more games worth it?

Turing is the next line of desktop GPU's from Nvidia, not Volta.

If you have money , why not? My budget is only enough for Mid Range PC and Switch, if i can throw my money for X and Pro , I already bought it

@m3Boarder32: BTW, your OLED is capable of 120hz at 1080p. So, you are not limited to just 60hz. Considering how far you sit from your TV, you probably are not seeing much benefit of 4K anyway.

I have all my consoles PS4, Xbox, Switch and PC hooked to my 144HZ HDR monitor. I don't like playing far away from the screen no matter how big the TV is.

@m3Boarder32: Unless you really wanna start building Volta PC like right now, are you gonna go out and spend $3,000 Titan V? That's the only Volta out as of now. Why not go with 1080Ti? That would be the most logical choice.

No point the X1X is pretty much delivering the best experience you can get with native 4K and Ultra settings at, getting a gaming PC when you suffer from framerate blindness is a waste of money just buy another red bull and save your money for the X1X exclusives.

Turing is the name of the mining GPUs. Ampere will be the gaming GPUs. And Volta will be coming out in 2020.

That's a myth. I just built a high end PC last month for ~$1200. The same price it would have cost me any other year. Ryzen 5 1600 + GTX 1080 (the 1080 was $549 brand new).

Geforce Store and EVGA still sell GPUs at MSRP. All other components are the same price they have always been, except RAM, which has gone up about $100 from a few years ago.

Does this mean I need an Intel CPU to get Netflix 4K? Or does a Ryzen 2 qualify as “or newer”

Ryzen 2 CPU comes out next month, But I’m not sure I’d consider it if it doesn’t do 4K Netflix.

It's not unreasonable that GPU mining will cease to become profitable or at least experience severely diminished returns within the next year or so and GPU prices will drop dramatically.

I understand why you'd post it here, but honestly most console gamers don't understand the appeal of PC gaming. I think you play along with their narrative for fun, but you probably understand the appeal of these niche and/or sim "middle market" games and modding communities that are simply not existent elsewhere.

Yes, I actually checked this complete overhaul mod out. It's extremely nice. The only problem is the game isn't all that great by itself; there are some fun mods for it, but modding it is a bitch and a half.
