I'm going to be lazy and tell you to look at their scores for the reason why. And not just GameSpot's, either.

Skate.

But if you listen to gut feelings, then MP3

I'd go with MP3. It'so ne of the best games of the year.

u can finish all of mp3 in two rentals or shorter and have much better amount of fun for those limited hours. skate, on the other hand, is a leisurely game thats also fun and is great in that never really ends.

my suggestion: rent mp3 once or twice and have a blast, then buy the game u can have fun with for way way way longer

I am extremely impressed with Skate. Its addicting if you get passed the controls (which is in it's own way revolutionary believe it or not), the graphics are top notch and the simple replayability of the game is enough to last you months if your into the gameplay. In fact both Metroid Prime 3 and Skate has literally revolutionary controls which is actually pretty funny.

I am NOT going to say that you should get it over MP3 nor vice versa since theanswer itself dumbs down toif you like your extreme sports overan awesomefirst person adventure?

Yes Skate is better than Tony Hawk but thats like Saying Carbon Monoxide is better than Sonic the Hedgehog (360/PS3) or Mobile Suit Gundam: Crossfire.

there is no such thing as 100% unbiased, even if you own all the systems you are going to have a bias towards one of them, thats just how humans are. and the gamespot review sucked, I know I've played it. The GS review for skate is just as bad though. GS reviews in general have sucked lately.

You'd know its one of the poorest written reviews of a game they have posted.

I own both of them. (techinically my brother owns the 360)

Skate is a good SPORTS game but is in no way shape or form even in Metroid (anything metroid)'s league.

I call it like I see it, the warioware review sucked, it was a pity review after the lozTP fiasco, The MP3 review really was very poorly written. The Skate review is completely off the game should have been at least 8.5 if not 9.0. I know this because I have played these games.GS reviews have just sucked lately, and if you want to go buy GS reviews he should get MP3 anyway because it scored higher, unbiased my butt.

Since you love Gamespot reviews so much that automatically means Metroid is automatically better than Skate.

We all know (Welleveryone but you) that 8.5 is higher than 7.5
