[QUOTE="Sgt_Grig"]the truth hurts, doesnt it?

Good god, so I'm not playing games on my PS3?
Miracle, these blu-ray movies let me interact with them...
:lol:
You post some of the most rational, logical, funny crap. You're a rare breed around here man, lol.
[QUOTE="colmusterd28"]honestly... I feel bad for those who hae not experienced bioshock and Mass Effect... I can't even argue with them because the fact that they haven't played them trumps any argument they may present. So many great games on 360 it sick.

I've played them.
And they're all right, but if we're looking at games you're going to be playing over the next year or so the 360 and PS3 are roughly equal.
Now that is the argument that really bugs me and that a lot of cows try to stick to. What, suddenly the back catalog of games doesn't exist? If you haven't owned a 360 to this point there are 2 and a half years of great games to play in addition to the "roughly equal" library coming up in the next year or so. The PS3's library will never become as good as the 360's merely being roughly equal from now on....they've got a couple years of great games to make up in order to close the library gap.[QUOTE="thrones"][QUOTE="colmusterd28"]honestly... People do not have all the same taste and perception.
Well, considering that PS3's top lineup is almost ready to be in full swing with the releases of Haze, MGS4 plus others later in the year, i'd say wait for a bit and experience the lineup before making your decision. This year is a much more promising year for the PS3 than 2007 ever was, so i'd make sure you don't miss out on anything that you might regret. If after playing a number of the upcoming gems you're still not satisfied, THEN you should consider getting a 360 instead.
And to all the posters who said "GET BOTH!" be reminded that not all gamers have money coming out of their ears... i'm pretty sure if that was true the TC would already have both consoles by now. I know i'd buy all 3 consoles if I could afford it.

That's fine, but really has nothing to do with what I said. There is a back library of critically acclaimed and/or commericial successes in the 360's back catalog that you can't simply pretend don't exist when comparing libraries.As an aside, if one hasn't played them how do they know they don't like them?
If your not deeply involved with blu-ray or intend to get involved then sell it.
There are alot of multiplaytform games but the overall library size of the 360's is much larger.
Also, maybe this will help your decision --> If you don't care about Metal Gear Solid or Final Fantasy then trade.
I thought about getting a PS3 to go with my 360 but its tough to drop that much money on something you might not use very often.. I came to the conclusion that as soon as Blu-ray becomes the standard (if it does replace DVD) then I'll immediately buy a PS3 because it is still a very good media center to have.
