Just because one system starts doing well doesn't mean the other starts doing bad. There is no inverse relationship between the two.
And you act as if there have been many Halo spin-offs. The only one released is Halo Wars. Halo 3: ODST is a stand-alone expansion. And the other unnamed Halo projects we've heard nothing about.

Still beating me - I only have 3 PS3 games.
On the 360, well I got a couple more than you. (35 games) :P
what's wrong with relying on multiplats? multiplats are the bread and butter of gaming, neither company releases enough exclusives to keep anyone happy all year round, you act like multiplats are inferior to exclusives, you just have to look at titles like resident evil 5 to realise that a lot of multiplats are just as good as exclusives,LOL at cows trying to downplay the importance of multiplats, wouldn't have anything to do with the fact they run better on 360 would it now?The PS3 lineup has been great ever since the release of MGS4. Killzone 2 has just added icing on the cake. Now with upcoming anticipating titles on the horizen ( MAG, Uncharted 2, inFamous etc.), I'm a little concerned that the Xbox 360 is just going to rely on more multiplates, paying for more timed exclusives, and releasing more Halo spin offs for the duration of the year. My question is, should we be a little concerned?

Well, in RPG's that are my thing, PS3 has almost nothing, so no worries
360 with Mass Effect, Lost Odyssey, Fable 2, Star Ocean 4 etc etc and the coming FF13, Gothic 4, Dragon Age, Mass Effect 2,Two Wolrds Temptation, Divinity 2, Risen, Precursors, Venetica, Dungeon Hero, 2D XBLA RPG, Fallout 3 and Fable 2 expansions etc 360 is like a million times ahead of PS3
Also gets the best versions of the best multipltforms, so when i buy a 60$ game, i do not have to worry that i get a vatly inferior version like the PS3 ones, espeially in games like RE5, Fallout 3, GTA4 etc that PS3 is far behind in both visuals and especially content

Do you copy and paste that all the time?Technically speaking they are releasing more exclusives than PS3.....it's just the quality is no where near PS3 exclusives. MS doesn't worry because they know they can buy anything they want if they truely feel they need to compete more. For instance, if you get to the 4th qtr with no big tent pole title (I don't count the Halo add on as a tent pole title) then I can see them making a deal with a 3rd party for something big.The PS3 lineup has been great ever since the release of MGS4. 360 has the best and biggest lineup of exclusives
it has lots of great "console exclusives" only on PC
also has the best version of the multiplats
some of the best games has yet to come: Forza3, Mass Effect 2, Halo ODST, Alan Wake, Splinter Cell Conviction, Gears of War 3, etc
sales are good. (actually its the only system selling better this year than the previous ones)
So, no. 360 owners dont have any reason to be worried!
Lol, fanboys act like multiplats dont work without an exclusive beside it lol. All those multiplats and a $200 model console is enough to bring casuals over to the 360 side. Not to mention the vast array of previous titles and exclusives that are dirt cheap now. MS know what they are doing, look at their history, they have some very smart business people running that division, we only need to look at the short time they have been in the gaming market to see that. They will have the exlusives this year. They just dont want to give sony an advantage. Why would you give the company with the biggest brand name, the company you risked your reliability to beat to the market to minimize the effects of the brand name, and the top dog the last 2 generations, any kind of advantage?? Thats exactly what Sony did, they announce all their games, and gives MS time to plan in the background. So MS beat them to the market while they were unprepared, and the rest is history. The same mistake was made by fanboys in 2007, 2008, and still are doing it now, yet MS had the exclusives, the timed exclusives, and the MULTIPLAT SALES on their side, it will be no different this year. ;)

Nail, meet head. This guy gets it.

honestly am not worried am sure 360 will get a couple of great exclusivesthis year.. also lets not forget the multiplats...
Personally i am looking forward to Halo:ODST, Alan Wake & hoping Rare announce Killer Instinct 3 :P
i'm an xbox 360 owner, but there's nothing for me to worry about really, except for maybe the rrod. sure, it's wont get any of those nice exclusives from the ps3, but missing out on a few games wont kill me. i can always rely on multiplatform games to entertain me.
Ehh, no. It has a few AE's whereas the PS3 has 2 AAAE's(Comet Crash+Killzone 2) and one AAA that's not on 360.SeanDiffUm, yes. XBLA games have never counted when it comes to AAAE ect. Don't use a double standard with the PSN. It doesn't work that way. But how about you give a take at this list -- which sheet is a bit empty no the exclusive front? Come on now, don't be shy.

The Xbox 360 already has more quality exclusives than the PS3 so far this year. :?Stevo_the_gamerreally have you seen the rankings ;) the top 09 xbox exclusives has already come out and have bombed halo wars, ninja blade the xbox 360 looks like it's in a desperate state hopefully E3 will save it.
keep thinking that ;) while we play the best multiplatforms and have God of War 3, MAG, Uncharted 2, Twisted Metal, GT5, inFAMOUS and other great games as a side dish. face it the days of the 360 are done withLast I heard multiplats are good games also. 360 owners don't need to worry about anything.

Yes. The Xbox 360 has more exclusives out right now then the PS3. And Halo Wars didn't bomb -- sold over a million copies, probably more by now, and has a solid AA rating on Metacritic. And the Xbox 360 already has an AAAE because of Lost and Damned; it's still at a 90 at Metacritic.

yes it has more but not better it's like wii wii has more shovelware while PS3 has quality. halo wars = 6.5 face the facts and lost and damned is just an add on that hasnt even been scored here how much is it $10 and we have new experiences to look forward to like 256 players and amazing graphics like the current graphic king Killzone 2 + the 09 lineup God of War is enough to silence every1 here. face it now you are all realising it was a mistake purchasing the 360 and wished you bought PS3 instead I understand.face it now you are all realising it was a mistake purchasing the 360 and wished you bought PS3 instead I understand.mglbpkillzNo. I am not.

Better is subjective -- the Xbox 360 still has more critically acclaimed exclusives than the PS3 as of right now -- especially on Gamespot. And thanks for the laughs, I'm surprised I even took the time to respond too that.
Either way - you get a ton of software - so who cares.HaziqonfireWill you always be stuck with your Wii and Xbox 360 Haziq -- any PS3 in your future? :P

I wish I could, can't afford it. Even having a 360, Wii and DS is hard to support all three. lol - Plus I think I'd be overloaded on games and I wouldn't have enough time to play them all. Luckily my friends have PS3's so if anything I play stuff there.

I wholeheatedly agree; thus why I have resorted to Gamefly for the past year. It's very nice. :D We don't have that in Canada. No need for panic. The 360 is selling briskly, it's getting all the 3rd party titles by way of multiplatform releases, has a couple exclusives already confirmed for '09, and I'm sure more good news to come at E3.
The good news for Sony is that it's console is really coming into its own. But the userbase for the 360 is well established. A steady stream of good titles is a forgone conclusion.
[QUOTE="tonitorsi"]of course you would :P Its true though. E3 is not the time to start annoucing a gaming lineup for this year. So if nothing was announced now. Dont get ur hopes up at E3 when they just show footage of Halo Recon, and previews of Alan Wake^ I second that.

Dont get ur hopes up at E3 when they just show footage of Halo Recon, and previews of Alan Wake So multiplats dont count anymore?? Thats what cows were screaming 2006-2008?? So now they dont count?? only exclusives count?? And what about 360/PC only games?? they all count in the REAL WORLD in the 360s library, and games that current and future 360 owners get to play on their console. narrowing it down to exclusives is delusional at best. The "other" gamers who dont visit sites like these still see those multiplats as viable reasons to buy a 360 over a PS3, ESPECIALLY with it being cheaper. I agree, that for the "hardcore" gamers, exclusives matter in the initial decision of which console to get, but if you already bought your freakin console like the hundreds of thousands on this thread, what good is it bashing one consoles exclusive line up when you still have other games to play??^ I second that.

Yeah, but I only see 3 worth playing games, Little King's Story, Punch-Out Wii and Muramasa: The Demon Blade for the rest of 2009. I don't care about The Conduit and many others as much as those 3 games. They shouldve started worrying a long time ago. Even the Wii is getting a better lineup.

I'm not worried...why should I be? Is it because PS3 has some exclusives that are riding the 10 ton hype machine?tbolt76
Yeah they got that Halo/GeOW/everything exclusive to the Xbox killer on the market now, Killzone 2 you know it changed history we just missed it.
No I am not worried about your dumb PS3's I had one it was boring I sold it I got over it.
